Playing with snow in a thunderstorm...

Yeah that was intense. Building a snowman in a middle of a thunderstorm. Only in Alberta! I wish our sled trail had survived it because I so wanted to say that I waz sledding in the rain, but since we didn't have a good base to it yet we never had a chance. It's amazing how quick of a melt that we are having. In a week we almost had all of our snow melted, and today we face a high of 13*C! Insane! Just to think a month ago we had -30*C weather.

Happy Easter to all! I'm not going to be online so I decided to say it early. I'm usually late for everything.

I've also came to announce the starting of yet another story blog, Wish Book. I have yet to post the first chapter but it will come quickly, I promise. But not this weekend...But before next weekend.

I have also a new job, but I think I will quit before I start. It is selling knives and unfortunatly it is to sell to your friends and family first and to be frank I don't think any of them need high quality knifeware in their lives at the moment. I think it will be a failure before it starts, so why try? *sigh*

I have also been accepted into school! Now I can go out and get further into debt for something that *MIGHT* help me in the future...I'm starting to get tired of these type of ventures. However, it will prove to me once again that I'm not too old to go to school and meet new people.

I like dressing up, yes I do!

I'm giving you the right to not go through the hundred and forty some posts and uploading some pics of me up onto the internet. *Gasp in horror and die* I know, I said that I would never do such a thing but since I stole a pikky from other peoples, I figure that the internet already has my picture on it so what's the harm in putting a few more on it?
Lets see there is Animethon 2005...Guess who I am *hehehe* Gosh I hates that picture...

And then getting ready for Bellerose Anime Festival and being there at the school...

I'm a moogle if no one can figure that out ~Sighs~ The corset was tight and a pain by the time I got home but i would do it again by yar! I have a lot of people who had saved their game. I so want to do that again at a bigger con!

Yes I love being able to cosplay...If I had unlimited fundage and talent I would go around to every con and dress up...And buy more anime and manga than I already have...And more souvenirs than I already have...I should post them too when I finish organizing my stuff. I don't want to be a complete slob in front of the internet peeps do I?

Talking about peeps I love those marshmallow yellow bundles of doom. I eat their heads first...Does anybody else do that? Easter...The last venue to get chocolate before Halloween, which if I don't get out of the house before then I probably be out trick-or-treating again...Amazingly out here no one cares how old you are and dumps enough candy to have a diabetic coma in the car with. Frankly stating me sister and I gots a green garbage bag full each, and we came home early and got out late. Even still, I think my peers don't look too highly for me continuing to do that and I'm setting a bad example. Oh well free candy!

My House Eats Stuff! And Matters of the Heart....

One would think that if there was something missing that one could go back to the one spot that you last had it and it's not there. You go looking around a simular place and it's not there. Look at an unusual spot that one would find it and it's not there. Stuff gets eatten, and it's not only at my place I find but at the most other people's places at well. It's sad how much stuff goes missing within the wilds of other stuff. Oh wait...Hey!!!

It was right here all along...

Anyways I've been devouring books at a great amount, so much that the librarian is afraid to call me anymore since I bring in and check out about 20 books every time and visit her at least once a week. Even though most of the books that I take out has been in the junior or Young adult but I've found that they have more varied amount of topics than the adult books. Even still I've been reading some adult books as well as some non-fiction as well. One of which is Marley and Me, the book that the movie was based on. It made me laugh and cry and remember because one of my own dogs was so much like Marley that I wonder if he could be a brother in mentality because there would be no way for him to be brother in blood.

But of course I haven't been able to choose the greatest of pets in my lifetime. The first pet that I had all on my own was Snowflake Obsidian (Name of a rock)And she lived to her name. She was as dumb as a rock and often (vocally) came to pester the whole household whenever she was outta water, food or needed her washroom cleaned. Even though she wondered when she was going to be attacked by my sister or a dog she raced away only to glance around the corner to see if one was following so that the chase could continue. She often latched herself to the top of our curious dog, Healy, head. I always found it funny to pry off her claws from the head of an animal whose head is larger than the cat herself. She was small and liked hiding in areas away from our grasp so sometimes we find a clump of her fur in the most unlikest of places. I'm waiting until we pull up the floor of the house and find all of her cat toys that she stashed in the vents.
And then there is the two dogs. Buddy (the gray one on the left) and Healy (The black one on the right) Buddy came to us as a stray drop off that had some major issues. When he finally wouldn't leave I gave him a bath and found that someone had shot him with a paintball. Later I found that a lot of people of a certain nationality like shooting dogs with paintballs, pellet guns and even rifles. A lot of them show up in the pounds with need of major surgery and in the end some had to be put down because of this. It was possible that Buddy was one of these dogs, or just wondered into the way of someone playing on one of the acreages here. Either way he was too friendly for his own good and loved his food. He was useless as far as doing dog duties ie. barking when people arrived, playing any sort of game...We also found out that we couldn't keep him pinned in at all. He would climb out of wire cages, find his way out of wooden fences...

And then there was Healy... We had him since he was a pup and he was the most strangest puppy that I've met in a long time. When he was first brought home he didn't chew on shoes, instead he fell asleep on mine, and only mine, and slept with his nose firmly planted in it. His front paws were twice the size of his back paws (Which was the size of them all the way until he died) and a tongue that was far too large for his mouth. He was a good sniffer for sure and we always joked that he should've been trained as a drug dog for the police. He liked playing frisbee and hockey, even getting so much that he would body check someone in order to get to the fabled prize: the puck or ball or anything that he so desired. I guess it would be the part of retriever or Great Dane in him that made him so good at it. Even though getting the puck, or ball back away from him is something that is difficult to do.
Also like Marley in the book he would destroy things when it came to a storm or fireworks. Unthankfully it was Buddy who taught him to be afraid. It was until we got Buddy that we started to run into problems. He destroyed form ply and wire fencing, until his bullheadedness would force himself out. The last winter we had him it was hard on his hips so that it was cruel to tie him up anymore. He still liked to play and track down milkbones and even when his sight and hearing went he still would come to my whistle. When you come to own a dog as long as I did Healy it's hard not to think that a dog ages when they still are doing the things he did as a puppy. I once found my arthritic dog curled up on my shoes, snoring away. It made me smile.

And then there is Snookums. She trained Buddy to lay down whenever she commanded so she could lay on top of him. She's now 12 and lordess of this property. Weither it be wild dogs, other cats or even a passing fox she launches herself into attack mode and chases them off. After losing Healy and Buddy this year we have been lucky to still have her around, still playful (to attacking falling leaves, snow and her own tail) and loving. She was another stray that was left behind when a neighbor took off in the middle of the night. While our other neighbor will feed any wild cat, he assumes that she's ours. It didn't help that she had to wear a tick collar last year because we found her with a couple of the parasites bounding off of her *Uuugh* Now she's clear and even five minutes ago she was happily tracking down the fox to chase it off the property.

The name of my blog is how I feel today...

Confused and Confuddled is all that explains all my actions that I am now placing myself on the path that is laid out before me. Now that I have said that extreme amount of nothingness I shall elaborate on it. *blarg* Okay it goes like this: I have gone to the point that I could be now editing and compressing the story of Sinclair of Twin earth (See Here if this makes no sense to you) So I'm now at the crossroads in the whole episode that I could start production of the manga/graphic novel immediately but I have to state that the world of Twin Earth isn't built yet. This comes to the meaning that over the last few years I have spent time working on the mini-story that is placed in the scenery of another world that I have built in a novel form that I haven't worked on or thought of for years. So my concern is now should I leave everything on hold and work slowly on production of the graphic novel and work on publishing the novels and finishing all the tales that are just now sitting in a two inch binder and wait to publish it at the same time. I fret and worry about these kinds of things all the time, and in the end I always get screwed around by bad publishers or agents.

The desire to be known to the general public is strong but I don't want to be in the spotlight, par se. I have seen many artist desire this as well. I think it comes down to that there is something that drives our creations to be wanting to be in the spotlight but the artist (writer) themselves want to disappear under the shadow of the creation. However, there always come some amount of even the minutest artist that pokes out, even if they hide under another creation, a name that they write/draw under. This is some part of them that they as a person could point over and go "Hey it's not me, it's him/her", but it's still not a real person. I've toyed with writing and drawing under a different name, mainly because I can't come up with a writers signature for my own name. Lame excuse isn't it? In all seriousness I have to admit that my name came from a character in a book, and that in itself has to imply that I am simply a character in my own rights.
Okay I'm going to stop that rant because I will only write myself back in a full circle and that will not come to any conclusion.

I wonder how people would react if I put my hair up with pens and pencils at work...

Does anybody know how those preloaded VISA or MASTERCARDs work? Will they work online for stuff, say on e-bay or elsewhere? I have read that they are accepted anywhere they accept VISA/MASTERCARD but I'm not sure if that includes the internet...I'm really paranoid about using my real card on the online shops so I'm interested if I get a card with a set amount on it and use it if it would work...That way if someone gets my number on the preloaded card, I'm only screwed out of the balance and no more.

And in the end does anybody really, really care?

Online Personalities and Paperwork....

It's tax time again and it's time to do all that FUN paperwork once again... That means I pull apart my desk, causing many avalanches in the process. Meanwhile there is always something missing or something that has to be called upon or something that has to faxed away. I was good and got (most) of it done. (Yay me!) Meanwhile I have found a piece of paper that informed me that there is a few people who would like me to write about my online personalities, so all you lucky people you all get a first hand experience into my online life. Well of two characters of it...

Lalita Mae
Lalita Mae, sister of Guinivere Redwolf, a person that was a FW of the plains. Lalita Mae went from Ar to the forests of Gor. There she was accepted by the panther girls of Tri-Moons. After a few years a few Panther Girls and her went off and created the proud band of Wild Woods. There she was a High Girl and was a famed hunter of larls and Panthers. (and sometimes Males as well). A craver and healer by trade, many of the services of both provided gold and other liquid assets to the Band. Lost her position in the Band due to RT loss of password and other distractions. Is now a Free Panther looking for a new band due to the closure of Wild Woods.

Kami Akai
(Pic drawn a long time ago...2006...I should update it) A red head magician used only on Armitage Dimention. Closest to me in personality but has the ability to use any of the spells on Final Fantasy as well as the Dragon Slave from Slayers (Lina Inverse), usually for the betterment of the CB. Usually I am either at work or at home with a slow internet connection that makes it impossible for quick interaction, or even being constant in a conversation. Occassionally can change forms between human, cat, but mostly fox: A form of a form changing spell. Yeah nothing else to say about her...

Things are being annoying....Again!

It's time for revenge of the annoying...
#1. Telus has been double billing us. The dumb butts were threatening to ruin my credit and we finally settled down to do our taxes and found out that there was an internet charge on the phone bill. So they've been charging two different bills for one service. Therefore we must complain to a real person in which is something I dislike doing. I'll complain online but when it actually comes to complaining to a person then I really hate doing it.

#2. Vehicles. That's it. It's done. The poor grey beast drove it's last trip. The starter has a problem that requires the removal of the transmission and that means that it's too much for me to do considering the cost of the car. I wouldn't drop a transmission on a vehicle that I really like I'm not doing it to one that I don't overly care for.

#3. Other peoples negative waves. This sounds so hippish but it's not that far from the truth. Lately I've seen so many negatives waves get thrown around that I'm soon going to be bringing out my hammer of supreme justice on people. That or at least a swift kick in the ass. I thrive for positive words and I try to push on trying to make it so that others hear positive things as well. That makes it difficult in todays world, where there is worldwide problems and everyone has to hear about them. Meanwhile everything that is going on with the world makes me more and more wanting to be a nationalist and say "F You!" to the rest of the world. To me that might cause some more problems as a worldwide trader but it might help the people in our own country.

#4. Now Hiring signs. There are so many Now Hiring signs all over the place but as soon as you drop off your resume the people say, "Oh we're not hiring right now." "It's been slow so we might not be hiring." It's one way or the other people! You either ARE hiring or NOT. There is no other way to look at it. Why should you have a "Now hiring" sign in the window if you're not hiring? Face the facts people! If you don't have a job take down the bloody sign, when there is a job there, put the sign back up. What is that going to cost you in the long run? A piece of paper and some tape. Not like the piss-me-off like having a sign for a position that isn't there.

#5. Internet applications. "Oh we are hiring but we cannot take your application here, you have to apply online." Oh how I want to smack the person who invented internet applications. No even worse than that, I want to put them through a meat grinder when they are still alive, cook the meat, feed it to pigs and then burn the pig waste. Maybe feed it to the pigs a second time. If they only knew how long it took for someone on dial-up to fill in an online application form they might've put the whole thing at least on one page, but no. The people have to split up the resume that it had to break everything down into tiny little pieces so that a 15 question application would take 2 1/2 hours to fill in. RAWR! The only promise that I wish Chrietian (Our last prime minister) stuck with is that everyone would have access to high speed internet, but no that wasn't a high priority. We had to have something like gun registry, which is the stupidist thing I have ever heard of. A person could build a gun with pipe and no register it. Also what type of criminal would commit a crime with a registered weapon. Also it's not as if the weapon had to have a bullet sent in so it's marked. Anyways....

#6. People saying they will do anything for the environment. Bull Crap! Here is a picture from last years inventory of the recycled cartridges:(Neat huh?) But this year we had only 1/5th of the cartridges of that of last year. I doubt that there is only 1/5th of the people printing out there. Also there has been a decrease in our output due to the fact that no one uses our services. I would also like to inform people that there is very few printers that have INCREASED their output in the last few years. More than a few have actually made the cartridges SMALLER even though their size hasn't decreased. Complicated isn't it? That's what the corporations want you to think. Many of the new printers come with half filled cartridges so you have to go out and buy another cartridge right away. Another thing the printer corporations love doing is give out large print capacities on the boxes of their cartridges but only base that on a 5% cover rate. That is a stupid amount because 5% isn't really much at all.

My Internet life has been getting pretty odd...

If anybody ever asks I never add anyone onto my MSN...So why is it that there is always about ten people who add me everyday? It's not as if I have given out my email addy in a long time either. I have had in the past someone add me to yell at me for being quicker than them to get the assigned email address but now it's just odd. On the one hand I want to block them all so that I wouldn't have to talk to them online, but in the end I add them for the fact that there are lots of people out there that know my email and I don't want to black anyone that I may have some association to, unless their name is in a different language.
This brings me to the point of the point. Where are they getting this info and what are they planning on doing with it? Is it mass terrorism of the masses? Probably not. I have lots of people MSNing me for a one night stand. Where on earth would they think that I'm even into that kind of thing? Sorry to inscribe a disturbing image into peoples minds but I'm not into that. Even so there is a message every two hours, like clockwork, asking me to click on this link so that I can "hook up" with a nearby single person. Give me a break.

On another note, anyone know of any RP chat sites? The one that I was chatting on forever has closed down permanently. I'm saddened by the fact, due to the mistake of a password and username I was unable to sign in to the site for about a year and I was able to sign in, just in time for it to shut down. It is difficult to find one in which people are satisfied with simple script and not something that has their own character running around on screen. An example of what I'm talking about would be WoW (And if you don't know what I'm talking about get back under that rock you're living under and die). Meanwhile the "old fashioned" chat rooms are dying out. Call me old school but that is what I'm used to and it was the newest fangled thing out there when I first came onto the internet. Dial-up was speedy then too. Wow I'm aging myself aren't I? Either way I'm depressed that I have to find another site, establish a persona and everything once more. I had a good set of people to RP with unfortunately with the invention of the new style of chatrooms, RL and "accidents" happening to their characters the room died and now is gone.

The last thing that I am tired of is that whenever one goes job-hunting online anymore there is very few postings that will actually give you a physical address to go down to and submit your resume. I'm tired of employers thinking that could save time by running email scanner bugs and search out certain words in a resume and in those words they will find the perfect person. If that was true then there would be more dictionaries in the work force. In all seriousness though I thought to try to apply online and it took me more than two hours to perform a simple application! These websites are not built for people that are stuck on dial-up and I think that the bandwidth or whatever it is called for the internet in general is going to suffer as a result. To put this into perspective; when the internet was new the pages were simple and essentially not nice to look at. Then came simple graphics that were quick to load... Then came the real killer, the websites that one has to load a moving graphic that is in high quality to even enter the site. I really hate those, it takes me so long to access the site to see if it even relevant to what I'm looking for that I could've done so many more tasks in the meantime.

Oh well it all comes with change.

Hating you makes me have a warm fuzzy feeling inside...

I have to laugh at that saying everytime I see it on the happy bunny items.
But it's true.

I have taken the time to actually read some of my own blogs and I realize I hate stuff.
Lots of stuff.

Some of the top of my list is,
Pants...
Snow...
Cold...
Heat...
Water...
My Boyfriend...And especially his parents....

Oh yes there is a lot more but that is just one of the things that make me happy. I have supreme pleasure out of hating things. Does this make me a bad person? Probably. Will I recieve treatment for this condition? Definely not. A lot of people say to do things that make you happy and hating the world seems to be one of those things for me. Yay!

As for other things...The weather has been retarded. The radio even says that mothernature around here is going through menapause. It's going from nice, to windier than hell, to snowing but otherwise nice, to windy, to freezing ass cold, to nice and then, just in time for me to work, going to snow. In a week there is a chance that it will peek out to a 16 degrees above zero. I'm scepticial but if it would happen we would have over a 50 degree swing in a matter of a week. I'm sick of it myself.

I broke another starter in half in my car. I have spent more in towing in the last month than the original cost of the flipping thing. To make matters worse is that I loaded the bottles from work into it and didn't take them out. I have over $30 sitting in the trunk. Anyone want to steal it now?

New year, New bitch

Lately I've been ignoring my emails, due to the fact that every time I open them there is a huge pile of sorting just waiting to spring upon me with hungry time-wasting jaws. Everything from real truly important emails to the time wasting moronic speed dating ones...Oh we can't forget about the Viagra emails that have interesting short paragraphs at the top that if one puts them all together makes a pretty funny romance novel. gah. Either way who on earth has the innitive or time to go around making these emails that waste time for everybody else to clear out their accounts and delete them in the end? Also I would love to find out how they get my email accounts in the first place. I bet random hackers go around and investigate one's computer and if they don't find anything interesting they grab all your email accounts and sell them off to spammers! Stupid spammers. I've ranted about them before to various people but after a while they left me alone but now they are back stuffing my obscenely huge email folder full of the daily pills, scams and other useless information that I have to (slowly) file through and delete.

On other rants we bought a new snowracer to replace the snowfox that was demolished last year in a spectacular fall off of mount grindy. I shoulda got that one on film, oh well. In it's primer run the snowracer broke it's handle, throwing Kim off of it. Simply to say that the older technology lasted almost 20 years versus maybe 20 minutes (set-up time included) and it wasn't as if we lauched her off the huge snowbank that we had last year...It was only off the snow covered hill and not a built up snowpile. There goes any of our hopes of making a run that came off the house roof.

Stupid skates. I wanted to go skating this year and see if I could handle it with a failing knee and if I could we could build a rink in the backyard. Why not it was really good weather for it with it dipping into the neg 30s. So went looking for them. Never found them. Neither did we find Ben's skates. Betting dollars to doughnuts we'll find them in the summer when it's plus 30 out. I could almost guarantee that.

I've finally resigned myself to going back to school. If that happens then I will have NO outside life for the next 2 years. However I'm OK with that. Kim on the other hand isn't as welcome to the idea. She wants to a bunch of cons over the next year and I'm not sure if I could afford to go, but I do go I already have most of my next costume ready unless I think of a new idea for cosplay.

So it's on the job hunt again. Even though many people are crying out recession and such I think it's only a cry made out by the journalists that is causing most of this downfall here in Canada. To think it through there is a lot of help wanted signs all over the place and it's not as if the people are responding to it. The people out there is just getting too greedy for their own good and wouldn't take the lower paid jobs even though they are offered. On the other hand large companies are looking at their pocketbooks and not the desires of their customers to increase their profits. An example of which is the American Car Companies. Their cars are now riddled with expansive repairs that could only be done with their technicians and their designs are ugly. This isn't only my point of view but many of the people who I've talked to. Face it cars out there right now are dangerous, unreliable and downright UGLY. I'm not talking like the fat girl with braces I'm talking beaten with an ugly stick until it has hair only in patches, 700 hundred pounds with one tooth, cross eyed, puke and three day old food on its chest and no discernible language ugly.
*Clears throat* so back to the main topic of this part of the rant I'm off job begging once more. I really hate to do that but face it with tumbling debt and desire to go back to school I cannot afford to stay at the job that I'm at. There is also a little more to that but I'm going to hold back today with it.
Well I'm done and this will take long enough to make into a blog *shakes a fist* stupid dialup.

It's been a couple months hasn't it?

Sorry for not keeping up with this blog a lot has been happening over the last two months.
First of all I was writing for NaNoWriMo for the month of November. I tried to complete it but found out that I had no interest in the story after half way into it. Next year I should just work on something that I have well planned, not just an extension of a story I wrote in the seventh grade. Either way I got further than I did last year and that makes me happy. I'm now working on three other stories and hopefully that will keep me interested for a while.

Other news we had to put down Buddy. It was hard but the best for him. That all what matters. So we are now on the hunt for another dog, hopefully something fluffy, but not too small. We had seen a few puppies that interested us but we haven't actually went to see them. The internet is a wonderous thing.

Then come Christmas. This year was busier than usual. First off I had to actually spend some time at Ben's family this year. That meant that the Christmas at my household had to be put on hold. Also to note that I have had enough turkey that I don't want to see the bird for another seven months at least! So I spent Christmas and Boxing Day with Ben's family and extended family. As for Christmas at home, we were still opening gifts on Saturday, after work. I think people spoiled each other once more, but it was all in good fun. We got the tree three weeks ahead of the holiday and all that equated to is that we were three hours earlier than usual. How crazy is that?

Also welcome to the cold weather. How I hate it. I've so far had a frozen car three out of four Saturdays. It's not fair! I even tried to start them and let them run but to no avail. Hopefully it will snap soon or I'll be hibernating and not going out for a job until April, and I need the money. *Growls*

I'm going back to school! People wonder why I'm going to go back, well it's because of the accident. They still haven't fixed my eyesight and therefore I wouldn't be going back to work like I am so back for retraining. Well I'm off hopefully I will be on with another post soon.

I think this might develop into a problem...

For starters I have to say this: I DO NOT LIKE CHANGE.
Change stinks. Changes bites. Changes make the world blow major chunks and makes my life a major hell. End of discussion. End of sentence. And no I'm not talking about the hard stuff that you get at the end of the day when you hand in a $20 bill, I rather in fact like that kind of change. Makes you feel rich when you don't have much money. No I'm talking about the things you can't do anything about so it throws you into a semi-depressive state.
The normal people out there are going to read this and then go think I have fallen off the deep end with this one but give me a while and I will explain.
What do I find when I log into blogger? CHANGE! I had to my eyeballs with things getting moved around on me. First it was the username into google account I grumble because my user name was a 9 letter easy flowing rheumatically typing thingamajig, the email address that I am forced to use now has a @ sign in it which makes it have no flow to the type. I may rant but it's going somewhere. ---> over there. Anyways today they changed where the comments go. Fine dandy, BUT on a couple of the blogs that I read some of the funky stuff that they added to the blog that you people with high speed internet get to enjoy, suddenly ATE THE FREAKING COMMENT BAR! So sorry no comments for my friends.... EVER AGAIN YOU HOSERS!

I do realize that I am complaining about blogger on blogger but I'm agrivated. I'm a red-head. And there is a GOD DAMNED FRUIT FLY BUZZING AROUND MY HEAD for some reason...Die flying demon die!

HAHAHA I squashed it's little body into a little black ball...ADD much? yes. Oh look at the sparkles.

Getting serious again though this does cause problems with people who cannot have things change easily for them like people with autism. Or dial up. Or crap ass computers that are barely able to hook online with the browser that they have.

Or just oooh look at the sparkles...

Sorry about that...

I've been far too busy this summer to wait for blogger and it's rediculisly long wait time to sign in that never seems to work on dial up to bring people up to date. It doesn't seem to matter anyways because the world of blogger has died so badly that no one checks other peoples blogs on a regular basis anymore anyways. Or they don't update their own anyways or post things in which it is really REALLY hard to make a comment on anyways. meh.

So I will bring people up to speed on my life and what is going on with it before my migraine hits and I get a headache for doing this. I'm not sure why I'm doing this other than I feel that I have to every once in a while or my conscious hits me.

Animethon - I went again this year...And I have to admit it that I was the most disappointed in it so much that I'm not sure that I want to go next year. I'm not sure if it was the lack of the crowds or that the weather had something to do with it but it seemed lacking this year and that was sad. Not many people glomped or took photos. There weren't that many people period. The crowds weren't there, the volunteers are volunteers and I thank them for what they do but when someone e-mails them and sends them messages please send them a line back! The only saving grace was the cheap deals that I found there that I never found outside Animethon. Thanks vendors! I would add photos of the costumes that I made but I am not waiting for it to load up online and I couldn't find any of us online. Sorry people of the online world.

Healy - We lost our quarter dog Healy this summer. It's a sad thing but what can one do. The unfortunate part is that our other dog Buddy is now depressed with the other dog gone.... *sigh*

Bodyworlds One - Which was very cool. If there is anyone who is interested in the body in any way I highly recommend it. I have one warning though...There is a lot of penises. But I got to touch a lung, a liver and chips of arms. My sister and I spent over three hours in the exhibit and watched as people sped by the exhibits. Concerning the cost of the tickets I'm amazed how people didn't take the time to enjoy what they were viewing.

Garden - We got pumpkins! I'm surprised! I got mom a plant as a lark and it took over the garden. We got 11 mid-sized pumpkins off the plant last week that were good and threw away a couple of them. Why should this be a big whoop-de-do? Simple, this is Northern Alberta and the likelihood of getting a good pumpkin off a plant is fairly low. So I can't wait to start cutting into them for Halloween! As well as our normal amount of potatoes, carrots, onions, peas, strawberries and other munchies. yum.

Story and Artwork - I will be posting Chapter 14 on my story blog. I would like to thank Liz and Bubbles for showing an interest where others have not. Thanks guys I love you! It wouldn't be updated as much as would like but hey what can I say? Also I will be reactivating my account over at fanart central due to some interest maybe I can hook my sister into doing that as a favor for me. I'm wanting to work on seventeen trillion ideas but none of them seem to come to fruit. Oh well.

Well that's all I can think of right now. Enjoy that for now. Canadians get confused with voting next Tuesday...

As I look around...

I noticed that there is a lot of things I haven't been attending to on the world of Blogger, or the world of my computer for that matter. My last post was made on May the 9th. My calender is still in February. The pile of paperwork on my desk is now even with the top of my 2004 monitor. There is people I should be calling and things I should be doing. Even though I have more free time than I ever had in my whole entire life, to do the things I wanted to do, and even though I'm getting some of what I desire to accomplish finished, it doesn't seem to be enough. It doesn't seem to be satisfactory.
I guess it is what it means when you need a change in life.

Stupidity on mount hight! Mainly about the news:

Alright now I got to admit that there is a lot of things that I have ranted and raved about in the past, mainly about moronic drivers, but now I would like to rant about the news.

It has come to my attention that the past of the people that hold government office has come to haunt them now. I don't think that this should be so. For instance, there was a month or so ago a scandle broke that there was a video found that had a gay remark on it that was a party way back in the 1990s. The people were obviously drunk, but they had gained power and this was politically incorrect and it is now offending some people. Now I must admit that what he said was wrong but common people, this was at a party and he was drunk. This was a video tape that was taken for private use not to be used to shown on the news to tear the guys name in the mud and make him look like the bad guy. Now he apologized for his comments that he made when he was drunk on that occasion in the 1990s, which I'm not sure if his views have changed or if he was apologizing to save face.

Which brings me to my next one. The house of commons were up in a uproar for a party member not having relations with someone with someone who had relations with a hells angel. Who has a headache? I do! Who gives a flying fuck? I DON'T! Common people once again I say that people aren't allowed to grow up and make mistakes in their lives? They aren't allowed to learn from them and put the past behind them? That they are forced to be carry the burden with them for the rest of their lives? Fine! But for the sake of political correctness please stop debating this crap, there gotta be better things to debate, like I donno, foreign affairs?

The last thing I wanna close on is this: Power hungry people. There was an example of one on the tele with a woman getting fired from Tim Hortons for giving away a timbit to a fussing toddler. yes indeed it probably was a wrong thing to do at the time but it is something that happens in the store more times than one thinks. In a box of 20 timbits it is not uncommon for an extra timbit to escape and join in. Usually the employees just fill the box. These things to sell are .16 cents each and probably for the corporation, around a nickel to produce. All in all, they give the dogs in the drive thru day old ones for free. Also consider this; this was a customer that was in on a regular basis, so probably produced more revenue than it did for that timbit. Also the employee offered to pay for the timbit, realizing that the line is more cut and dry than what she was described. Even so she was still fired.
All in the end Tim Hortons hired her in a new location and position and the manager is getting a talking to. However I think that the corporation should have the rules set out. If they are going to allow this or not, and in what situations or not, so that it isn't embarrassed like this again.

meh.

In regards to last nights post...

The world doesn't let you know what you can do on your resolution until you actually check it out. I was going to order the next book and found out to my shock and horror that the next one is the last. Yes the last one is the only one that the library system has in order and in fact the one after that is up for grabs for pre-sale at amazon.ca. I am very bummed out. If I was living in England I would have the next two but I don't so meh.

So as for resolutions go I'm off to find another one.

Resolutions!

It is funny that one should remake themselves on new years day. I never seem to be able to make a new years resolution on that day. I think I made a post stating something similar before. However, if someone came up to me and asked me what is my resolutions for the year say, in April it would be far easier for me to say what my minor goals for the year would be.
I came up with something really silly this year and in being silly it may be easy to achieve: I shall read the whole series of Peanuts. Yes, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus and the gang from the beginning to wherever the complete Peanuts series ends. Realize that this is not an easy task, for the following reasons; I still have the vision problems that are limiting my time reading, and that is why I am reading Peanuts and not taking the challenges of greater writers and series that gather dust upon my selves and I look at with great longing. Other reasons include that this comic is a very long running series, one that had been running far longer than I had initially realized, and with this collection, they had gathered all the dailies and Sundays. I must tip my hat off to Charles "Sparky" Schulz in drawing and lettering each one by hand with no help with an assistant. *claps a hundred times a minute* Also I have read the introductions in the beginning of each book which have been proving fascinating, telling stories and giving insight of how a troubled and shy man had touched these peoples lives as well as the rest of America. The last reason is that there is a slow down is the library system in ordering the books so I'm now fearing that with the hiccups that during the summer especially, that I wouldn't be able to keep up the pace to meet the December deadline.

But in the whole getting these books from the library has been a sort of a time capsule. There were things published in the strip that was important in that time that was never thought to be important now. In one of the 50's strips there was Charlie Brown rifling through War, Gor and Horror comics, Lucy and Linus and Sally all had to go through baby-hood, Happiness is a dime to get a chocolate bar and a comic, The kids were almost always listening to records, simple toys like ball, roller skates, bubbles. Then in the 60's it went to satellite launches, more television influence, first reference of the zip code, 75 cent kites, and even skate boards. One may not even realize that they seen all the references of the changes of the times but my sister had picked it up when she saw the prices and gained some insight of the time that has past. I wonder if it will be the same if my grandkids pick up the same book or the ones done by Lynn Johnson (I'm using her because she cartoons using modern day setting and does creates controversy with some of her FBOFW) and ask if the things in the comic true to what they were, or not. As I pass them a twenty dollar bill for their chocolate bar I can say "Yes in 1950 you could buy a chocolate bar and a comic for ten cents."

Many many things

It's been a while, and I'm sorry I said I wouldn't leave things so long but I've been avoiding things again.

The following movie is from late February... and the snow pile is still almost that high.

And after that the snowfox had an unfortunate accident, so if anyone has one (a snowfox or snowracer) that they are no longer using and that they are willing to sell to me, and they aren't on the other side of the country and could hook me up please let me know! I'm still looking forelornly at an awesome run out there and it's not melted away yet. ^_^

What else. Provincial elections has come and gone. The PC's have been re-elected. What a big surprise. A lot of people where falling into the commercials that were airing on the tele that there was going to be a big uprising and overthrowing of government but I couldn't believe it. Unfortunatly, if there is any large change with oil monies now they may thumb their noses at us and pull stakes. Alberta is not the only province with oil and other provinces have expressed their interest in rubbing elbows with the large companies, I may be wrong due to being fed wrong information, but that is my impression. At least in the end of it all there might be some changes: I hear that they may do something about health care premiums so that's good.

I have noticed that I have been in the work force for almost seven years now, and during that time minimum wage went from $5.60 to $8.00 and during that time I noticed things roll up in price. For instance I noticed that a 4L of milk jumped in price from $2.99 to $3.99 to finally last week $4.29. Bread went from $.99 to $1.29. True that this may be counting pennies when dollars are to blame, but this is becoming stupid. Rent doubled. Fuel went up a third, food went up almost a third (more if you try to eat healthier), every utility wants to ding their customer before they even use their services, cellular phone companies deciding that "evenings" begin at 9pm and anyone who says anything about it is just whining. I think that they are ripping people off because they can and because people can't do anything about it because evey other company out there is doing it too.

Oh we had a lunar eclispe. I found a picture of it on my camera. Very cool. When was it? A while ago. If you want a exact date, umm, geek of freak, leave a comment and I will look that up for you. It was neat though.

Oh my gosh! I will be making a post on my story blog! I promise it WILL NOT BE AS LONG AS THIS ONE!!!

And just for interest sakes and he's such a nice guy and I leave the best thing for last. I gots this on Monday. Yeah a crappy picture but what can I say I have a crappy camera for really close up sparkily stuff, this will keep me happy for another two years. Actually I'm happy about the crappy photo because I've already started to "accidently" marr the left gold bead and you can't notice it as badly in this photo *insert bad laughter here*

And the "face" of Stony Plain changes...

As many of us who have walked on the many of the quiet streets of Stony Plain there is a past that stares back at us, watching as we go along our daily business, silent reminders of times that are past and gone. I am speaking of the paintings that dot along the streets of downtown Stony Plain, sometimes half-ways hidden in a turn of a building, where you might find a pair of children reaching up to pet a horse, or way up high where everyone can see, like the one on the high school.

Unfortunatly for these paintings their life span is numbered by the usefulness of the buildings they call home. This time we lost the Lady With The Hats, a mural depicting former Stony Plain mayor and MLA Cornelia Wood and her vast collection of hats. There was very little to be done to save the mural as the building was far outlived it's lifespan. However from the loss of this mural and others before it has shown errors of the town's ways. Now the paintings are being painted on boards that are removable so that the painting can be removed, the building repaired, built, whatever and the painting replaced with no harm to it. I think this is a fantastic idea! Hopefully the lady can be repainted or be placed with honor in a place where she will not fade into only a memory. Then who is to say that her story is more important then then the dust left by the crumbled buildings' morter.

Video Games Live!

I wish hindsight was foresight and foresight had better sight.
The previous video is one such case and will be explained below.

For our fourth anniversary Bennett and I went to Video Games Live. For those who do not know what it is, the simple explanation is that it is like a AMV but the music is with a live orchestra and choir instead of a recording. In addition to that we were blessed with treats like things like what was in the viedo above by the talented Martin Leung, who treated us with a beautiful melody of final fantasy earlier than this which I didn't catch. Curse my camera and it randomly deciding that it was out of memory!

My hindsight is that I wish that I ramped up the recording to at least 2M recording but then I wouldn't been able to share it with the people of the internet. I still have dial up and it is taking a stupid amount of time to upload the video. If it was higher quality I'm sure it probably wouldn't be completed tonight.

Afterwords the people that hosted video games live stayed after and did signatures and talked with the fans. I want to Thank them once again for staying until quarter to one in the morning to handle the amount of people and answer their questions. Then, (to my knowledge) go off to the after party to handle more people for more hand shaking, signing, and question answering. These people are fantastic and I know that there are not many people who read this blog, but for those who do, I would like to say that these people enjoy seem to enjoy doing what they do and they are genuine people.

We've had two seasons in three weeks...

It's kinda true.
It has been true Alberta weather over the last three weeks...Wait and it will change. Two weeks ago it was as bad as neg 60 with the wind chill and blizarding snow and now yesterday it was pos 8 with sun melting things out. The overall feeling is like having the change of fall to winter to spring shoved into the last three weeks and it is quite a shock to the system. Of course out there shovelling snow and making job aps so the body is quite used to the cold temp now and the now hovering around zero mark makes the need for a coat almost unnessary. I will spit at myself when I read back at this in the summer when it is twenty above and zero is nothing but a memory and forty below is something in a horror novel.

Eeep and sorry...

I just realized that I have been ignoring all that has happened over the last month that I haven't even updated my blogger! Oh noes! Everyone hates me nows... *sits in a corner and crys*

Well lets get the updating caught up...

December: Work work work, between the paper and the other job I barely was able to get the Christmas crap done. Eeep eep eep.

January: Got fired. Yep got fired. I'm none too impressed, but past that I wouldn't get too much further into it, other than the boss lady wanted to fire me and not let me go. I say this because I had a better offer and when I brought it up she begged me to stay. So in other words She's a bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch bitch! I really don't say many things bad about people but sometimes when the spade is present one has to call it black.
So it's job hunting. A thing almost every person in the world hates to do. The interviews the passing of information to parties that you are sure that are looking for people but aren't sure that the person that they are looking for is you. The constant smiles and thank-yous. Who really likes doing this? If that person is you I shall give you a gold star. Cause it's not for me.
Also I'm now a year older, yes my birthday is in January. I say this in the most depressing tone that one can give over the conveyance of text. I can say this: Birthdays suck. I'm sure if it wasn't for the electronic age of reminders via some processor in the states a lot of people would forget about it even though I may remind them in a better mood at an earlier date. Truth be known I never had the ripping roaring birthday that others younger than myself have, upon my 18th birthday I was behind my desk, studying, wishing that the day could be strucken from the calander. Days of school has passed and it still holds true. Perhaps it's just getting to lonely in this courner of the world. Other than my guy I can honestly say that I haven't had a phone call from anyone in over a month. Everyone is reverting to text and emails. I really can't say I'm much better for the calling, but I feel as if I'm imposing on people who are indefinatly more busy than myself. For instance the only person to comment on this blog has been a spanish spammer. Yay. Anyways for birthdays, I can live without them, save for the calorie heavy ice cream cakes from Dairy Queen. *Drool*
I have also been moving around items of furniture and getting to the dark, spider infested areas of my room. This is a major task, for it is something that I lothe to the very pits of my
soul, save for birthdays.

The problem with moving things is stuff. I have tons of stuff. I look now at a desk overflowing with stuff. Over it on the floor is a pile of more stuff, and on another one of my desks even more stuff. I have stuff in boxes, totes and bags. Stuff is piled to the flipping ceiling and around my bed. Stuff in shelves, stuff in other stuff, and plainly I have too much stuff. Stuff I haven't seen in years and stuff I have to get rid of, stuff that I treasure and stuff I dispise. Stuff is something I got for Christmas, Birthdays and anniversarys. I have so much stuff that other stuff gets lost in it. I declaire that I will not want any more stuff, but then they come out with more stuff and then I want that stuff and therefore I buy that stuff and add it to my stuff I already have. There is stuff that I will need and there is stuff that I still want. But the true worry of mine is how will I move all my stuff into another place and fit it all back together? There will be a time where my stuff will overrun any place I should declare home. I worry about people taking my stuff, who has my stuff and who will get the stuff I buy for their Christmas, birthday or anniversary? Stuff is everywhere but stuff defines us, shows our tastes, likes and sometimes deslikes. Stuff can be simple and stuff can be complex. I love stuff, and causes a huge problem: too much stuff. So you know what? Stuff it.

Just a note...

I'm now announcing that there is no possible way for me to complete my NaNoWriMo in time.
I would like to thank those who supported me in their thoughts or in my own.
Special shout out to my sister who had fun translating my handwritten notes into a finished typed copy. I had fun trying to figure out what she typed to make sense once more when it was placed in the final copy.

I would like to say that it was an experience in many ways and I'm better equipped for another try next year.

Over December and January I am going to try to "edit" this monster and paste it up on my story blog. For those who care to read it look for it there. For those who are worried about my story getting stolen from there, don't worry I know myself better than that. What is posted there will be nothing compared to it if I publish it. Perhaps I will paste the NaNoWriMo edition on there. That will screw everyone up. If I forget about editing it, the manuscript will be locked away with the other ones I have done. Gah.

NaNoWriMo Word Count at the end of this blog: 21,631
Point in story: About 1/3 of the way there, unless I get into a real long scene
Chapters: 12 to date
Species: At least 8, with mention of more with more to come
Blondes: 2
Redheads: 1
Paragraphs: 364
Characters with spaces: 114,413
Backstories: At least three, maybe four at this point.
Brain & Body Status: Dead.

Controlling outside forces and deadlines

Many things have happened over the last few days including the fact that the story I have been writing for NaNoWriMo has gone haywire and created a life on it's own. I'm trying to steer it in a direction that I want it to go but it's like directing a wayward horse.
However I had many ask me why is it doing so, Why do I let things happen when as the writer I control what happens in the story. That may be true and I might just turn around and make all the good characters turn against one another and kill each other and have the debonair bad guy be the inventor of tatortots in his realm of reality. But I do not think that way. And I do not let my characters let me know how the story will end. True everyone reading books like to think that there is a pretty ending, where everything will work out but sometimes it doesn't happen. Sometimes the bad guy wins, this isn't Disney after all. I rather write it how I would watch it on television, where the characters and the viewer have little idea what is going on. Well in some shows anyways. Common if there is zombies in the film almost all if not all will be zombies at the end. Sorry those dumbasses who didn't know this already.
I don't know how it ends and I rather not until it is spewed forth on the type. Bite me.

As for deadlines, I have found out that outside forces play havoc on them, no matter how much I tell them to shove off and leave me alone. The people that I've told this to occasionally read this blog and therefore in big written type GET THE FLIPPING PICTURE BEFORE I SHOVE IT IN YOUR NOSE!!!! Running behind is not something I particularly enjoy and I expect that things in the future is not going to get any easier all ways round. November is almost finished so it's the mad dash to finish NaNoWriMo and the January release date (pending sanity and funding) of Sinclair, combined with other side projects makes it so that this season is horrible. Excuse any bitchiness that should arise.

Outside forces: Looking for a third or higher paying first job, friends and family, time of the year, weather and health. All in the grrness files.

Oh My Gosh It Snowed!

So slow down and stop driving erratically you morons!
I swear every time we get just a sniff of snow that is when all the stupid moronic drivers come out and then have the nerve to blame the weather as they fly off the road into the ditch. I usually wouldn't be saying this if there is a real wet or thick dump of snow. True this one polished the roads a bit but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't that bad. We already had a taste of snow a few weeks ago and that was far worse, since the snow was heavy and wet and made the roads into one nice thick ice block. THAT was an interesting drive.
But on the way to work I saw someone who had completely lost it. I'm not meaning the normal lose it where the 360 come in, or the lose it way that they couldn't stop no matter what through an intersection. This case had air time, and a ride of a life. I wish I was able to pull over and snap a picture but already police was swarming. But it did an endo and turn. I must be impressed at anyone who does that and have the vehicle sitting, quite stable, on its side. What is most impressive if one ignores the scrapes on the nose and probably side one probably couldn't guess.
That wasn't the worst of it all. The worst was that when passing the accident one person slammed on their brakes and did a half spin in the middle of heavy traffic. Could it be slippery? Possible. What do you not do when it is slippery? Not accelerate or break heavy/quickly. Either way it could've been a lot worse very quickly but thankfully someone in the other lane went onto the shoulder to give the one out of control some more room to get under control.

NaNoWriMo

Yes, I have been back to writing again. Unfortunately not to the speed that a NaNoWriMo champion needs to be at. A lot of my time is split between driving and working so I have two major excuses as to why I am both coming up with a crappy story and not getting as much done.
1. I am typing it on the computer at work. Therefore the file is at work. To type at home is redundant because I don't have the file there and my sister is stealing the computer 90% of the time this last week and a half.
2. I am therefore writing much of the story out long hand. Which is for me a lot slower and not time effective. It should be interesting to see where I end up in another three weeks.

Some Changes...And Some help needed!

I have noticed that there was some Links mixed in with the comics so I have fixed that.
Also I am on the hunt for new and good web-comics, if you know of some please let me know.
Thirdly, I am also on the hunt for well written interesting blogs for the reason that there is no new posting from people in almost coons ages (save a handful and to those I apologize.)
Number Four: I'm a noob and I freely admit it, but does anyone know of where I can find get a dot.com or dot.ca address or even information on how to do so?
Five: I need opinions on the Sinclair story. For those who don't know where to look click here.

A good old time

What could that possibly be? hmmm... For one is finding the old Transformers movie and watching the good cartoon goodness once more. Kim was unsure of how well that the movie would be, but now she knows that Transformers are cheezy to the max. Either way it was enjoyable except for the few random scenes. Also the cheering for the decepticons and the dinobots.Which of course followed with a half hour of making fun of the cover. 1. The pink robot looks so much like princess Lia off of star wars it isn't funny. 2. The green robot on the opposite side looks like he's going to "oil" himself. I know bad pun. 3. One of the main robots in the movie isn't on the cover, or is transformed and is tiny in comparison, all things considered. 4. The autobots logo is crying. Decepticons logo is a lot better in that way.
And making fun of the cover warped into making fun of the movie, which was more interesting on how we tied most of the things that was happening in the movie to other movies that were being produced at the time.
Which brought us to the main screen, which had the Transformers hair band scream (too cool) and the special features of the guy who wrote the sound track. Mainly I wanted to know what they used to make the transformation sound but it ended up making fun of him too.
Good times good times

The boredum of blogger

With every craze out there it has its hayday then gets thrown to the dogs. It seems like the people I used to follow their blogs to find out their everyday lives have posted less and less and even one of the links no longer work. With the multiple interactiveness of facebook it is hard to imagine that something so text heavy like blogger has a chance. Some people may not like the simpleness of pure text and pictures, but it is easily pulled by the multitude of apps like Warbook, Pirates, (fluff)Friends, Ilike and more. Also it seems easier to find people of past and present in order to make more interaction in the day to day lives.
Of course I really cannot say much on that for this own blog may be one of the most simplest, boring blogs out there, visually speaking, and in some ways intellectually speaking as well. It's not as if I'm highly educated and debate physics, economics or other subjects in a precise manner that makes this a blog of interest with multiple hits per day with readers all over the world. Unfortunately all my readers are pretty much repeats or ones that accidentally click here and never return.
Oh well I'm blathering again.

It seems I have no luck these days

All in all my luck has been just horrific. Especially when it comes to vehicles and coming to work on time. I've had everything from break downs to battery failure to the mother of all falling crap that happened today, a freaking road closure. I'm not talking a minor road I'm talking main artery Hwy 16! I thought hey I could be at work early and everything. Man I'm wrong again. *sigh* If anyone out there knows what it was this morning that why the police closed down two lanes of traffic can they tell me for nothing more than interests sake.

Dollar at Par

Well it's the day that online Canadian shoppers will rejoice, the Loonie is at Par with the Yankie Greenback. This will make the shopping experience cheaper for Canadians online, but it will probably not effect those who are living further north of the border or do not shop online. Why you may ask? I shall give an example: Over the next few days I doubt that the price of the dollar will effect my buying power in the local market, like buying a loaf of bread.
But I shall pass on that issue, for the one that I wish to ask and look up is that is the Canadian Dollar really gaining speed with the rest of the world or is it that we are staying the same and the yank falling in the world scale. I have noticed this more in the imported and translated text. For instance when I was first buying my manga comics, they listed 1000yen = $12.88USD since then it dropped to 1000yen = $10.00 to 1000 yen = $9.88. This may be a mistake in the translation, but what if it is not? I thought at first reading they went to the 1000 yen = $10.00USD for ease for mental conversion for the younger readers but slowly I have noticed that it is becoming out of proportion with this easy conversion.

(A few research moments later)
As of this second 1000 yen = 8.65776USD. I only used the yen for it is a conversion that I have gotten used to using every day due to my manga addiction. If memory serves me correctly, however, a few years ago the euro was very simular to the American dollar and that has pulled away to almost $1.50USD = 1 Euro.

All in stating it is food for thought,
or I might be speaking from my ass again.

If I had the drive...

I would personally rob my computer technician here at work of his very soul. Then eat it.
Why I say something so bizarre even for me? Well with the comings and goings of a new computer system, while trying to get a paper out has made it quite interesting, none the less. First of all I would like to say that we are still down one designer and I still cannot see all the greatest, even to the point in trying to catch things are not there. Honestly. Second, I was stalled for an extra few days due to the fact that it does take a few days to switch over the servers and the computers and squash a few bugs that are taking over the systems, one of which is in the fonts database. Anyone who works with the great number of fonts out there should know that there is a billion and one fonts out there and one can use each and everyone of them for a matter of a million projects. The problem with all these fonts, especially in a database that spans years and multiple programs that it could become a huge headache if even one of those fonts would so happen to disappear. Unfortunatly for me a few has gone AWOL. It is almost an impossible task to wonder the internet and find the fonts again, especially when I didn't load them in the first place. So with the computers giving me grief I'm sitting around thinking "Two days Sunday, No computers tomorrow, Two Days Sunday..."
Unfortunate for the people around me and you dear reader, is that in the mists of all of this, is the multiple whinings of myself, which is usually compounds to one thing. The techy is getting paid way too much to be holding up people who only dream of making even half of what he is charging.

Sleep

Is it not funny that when one has the time to actually get the rest and sleep one really needs one cannot sleep worth a hoot? I am saying this due to the fact this weekend was set aside for sleeping. Yes now I actually have to schedule sleep. In the end even though I stayed in bed for almost half the day in most cases I have not gotten more sleep than I usually do. Life is funny in that way, when I have no time for sleep or I'm bone ass tired I sleep like the dead, unfortunately times like that I have no time to actually have a long, deep sleep.
Oh well me go to sleep now... ... ...

Internet Woes

Probably by this time I lost anyone who had any remote interest in this blog and for that I'm saddened. But at the same time I am compelled to write more here than anywhere else on the internet.
Perhaps it is a loss of my old internet habits are hard to die. For those who may not know I was one of those internet losers spending a lot of my time in chat rooms looking for attention and yet in the same token, being able not to be singled out, something that was difficult in my school life.
Many who never got hooked onto internet chat sites never really know what it means to people, why people would ignore their families and friends in the real world to try to become one that is pure fiction. I must admit the thought of being someone else is easy to conjure, especially for those who already live with one foot firmly planted in fantasy (myself included in this statement). How so? Very easy. An example of this is the image that people have in their heads that is themselves in the physical state. It is my belief that it is how far off we are from our mental picture of ourselves is how much we (as a society) hate how we look. This image that we have of ourselves is often distorted by the media, which makes us think that we will achieve this perfect body, even though genetics, diet and other traits of lifestyle will prevent us from doing so. The further apart this mental image is from the truth, the more we hate our bodies.
Mine for example is further and further away from the mental image by the day, but I already know that my mental image is impossible to achieve. It's just really depressing to look at photos and even though people may say I'm pretty, even to the point I'm beautiful, I know that I shall not be happy with the picture no matter what. And other than whitening teeth, ridding of uber white spots of the face and red eye, and lightening dark photos (little etc things like that) I'm not a true believer of photoshop to the point of absolute beauty. Even still I should try one once to see what I can do and see who comes out, me or someone that vaguely looks like me.

My appologies

Whoot I made it to 101 posts and yes the little punk girl is to celebrate, yes see the little 101 on her belt buckle? I had something much much cooler planned out but like the rest of my plans something is left out and had to be redone on the fly, therefore crap.

A lot has been going on since my last post and it would be criminal to try to shove it into one post but perhaps that wouldn't be a bad thing. So watch it humour ahead.

Never try to walk when both yer leg and knee are asleep. I did and walked right into a shower door. True story. When black and white collide it doesn't make grey: it makes spare parts. (on a accident I saw that had the exact same minivans, one black one white)

It has been a rough few weeks, aside from being overworked, underpaid and under appreciated I had a wonderful task of a wedding in the middle of it all. Sorry not my own or it would've shown a lot sooner in my postings. My friend requested that I should be the MC of her wedding. Sure why not. Reason why not, I stutter, I am forgetful and I never spoke before a large group before in my life. Reason why, she's my friend and that blows away everything else.

But I had to fly down to Victoria and travel north.

I once again say that Ford Focus cars are out to get me. At the rental agency we received one for our trip north on Vancouver island. We packed up and began to take off when we braked, squeeled (metal on metal) and nosedived. I don't think that car really had any rear brakes on it at all. If we didn't notice it or didn't go back I would hate to think of what would happen if we had to stop at one of the red lights on our trip, and didn't stop. So we got a little Nissan instead, which made me happy. There was a bunch of things that made me want to look at the Nissan lineup for my next car but we shall see.

The wedding was wonderful, despite the weather being absolutely uncooperative. It rained off and on about 4 times during the day and it was decided to be moved indoors, just in time for it not to rain. Bloody weather. The couple was wed, I goofed up badly a few times in my speeches, and past that it was quite short really. Everyone was gone almost an hour and half before expectations. Note to BC government: Why is it that you need TWO pieces of ID to get into a bar? It's not as if they can't forge another set of ID! ie we went to the bar and couldn't get in because one of the ALBERTA peoples had only one ID. I would figure that places like that would give some slack to those who are traveling from a different province, and may not know the rules of that province, past the age limit of drinking there. the grrness.

Oh well it was fun, save for the getting up at 4 am and going to the airport to get bumped onto a 9:30 flight, spending 5 hours at the airport, trying not to spend over $15 for a drink and simple breakfast, which for $6 we got some dried out carrot sticks and a pop. Thieving bastards. After that was said and done we got to Edmonton after a horrible flight. My left ear refused to pop all that time we were up in the air, so lost my appitite, which was monsterous, and made me cry all the way home. Only after we started to desend that it finally popped and I was better, and hungry. Damn I shoulda picked up the cookies, which they defined as "breakfast". So I was almost 4 hours late for work, since our bags went on the 4am flight and were already been picked up by the baggage officers. Why we couldn't go it was beyond bizarre for me.

So back at work, mentally throttling the brat that is here, he whines worse than a little girl, combined with late nights and such. Unfortunatly there was also a death of a good friend who's funeral was on the Saturday we were in BC. In many ways I was glad that we didn't find out before we got back or it would've been a very dark day for a wedding.

I'm done for now. Hopefully I can get the pictures ready for posting soon, but I've been so lazy that I haven't unpacked and I got home on Monday ^_^ bad me bad me.

Nearing 100

Posts that is. I cannot say exactly for sure due to the fact that I have saved a bunch of stuff that was ideas for posts as posts and they were never published. If one ever does this it is kind to remember that the posts do save and is added onto the total.
I had to say that I separated my links into two much longer links. I have visited Applegeeks today and noticed that they have many other online comics and galleries on one of the rants. Taking this opportunity I scooped them up seeing that the rants disappear on Applegeeks site and I have ran out of episodes on Megatokyo. Anyways just on the simple browse I would recommend Bunny on the online comics links for those who love the one liners like far side. I know I'm still missing quite a few that I enjoy reading but this will do as a start.

As for me my eyesight is still somewhat crappy so it's still a work in progress trying to get back into the groove of things, also I'm trying to balance everything on a fine pin point before it comes crashing down on my head. (Hopefully it stays up there)

The grrness part something

I know that I rant and rave about stupid drivers, even though I may on occasion be one myself but I beg and plead with people not to blow through construction, and pay attention to the people working on the site as well. Lately I have seen a construction worker dive off to the side as a motor vechile blew by going the regular speed limit which was a full 60 km over the posted construction zone signage. And not that long ago a car was almost crushed by a semi that was coming out of a pit because the driver chose to ignore the worker holding the stop sign. Now, they have the speeding fines doubled in construction sights which work well in the cities due to the fact they have photo radar and the punch by the drivers will be felt eventually but without police presence in these areas, there is a percentage of people who will go through as if there is nothing the matter, and many more who passed the majority of the construction will speed up and go through the "safe zone" of the construction at unsafe speeds.
But I must admit some of those construction zones are far larger than they need and that is a fault that some motorists are getting impatient with them. However over the last two years since they did the double the speeding fines I have noticed that they are no longer miles and miles of construction that one doesn't see much less a shovel or other being of life.
But I have noticed that the pace of life for people has increased tremendiously around Spruce Grove and Area. I never used to see anyone run red lights, leap frog in front of someone for no apparent reason or other rude behavior. Over the course of this certain boom there has been an influx of people who are a. unknowing where they are going and not paying attention b. not caring about others c. getting to be lazy drivers. For instance I almost got into another accident last night due to the use of two other drivers. I was about to go onto the highway when I notice a little red car and a white truck in the slow lane. I started to go but then the white truck peeked around the red car and so I thought it might change lanes without signaling so I hit the brakes and decided to let them pass just in case, when some deeb in a Ford Focus almost ate my ass cause they didn't realize that I stopped.
If that car is in long production it will be the death of me.

On clicks...

I would like to extend many words of thanks to those around the world who read this little life every once in a while. I have recently looked up on my cluster maps and counted 42 dots from around the world! I'm quite impressed. I rarely have something that is up and running on the internet that has even half of the people either a. interested and/or bored enough to read some of the items. Or b. mis click on a link so that it registers up. Either way it makes me happy.
Sad and pathetic no?
I wanted to have some sort of artwork posted for this occasion that is to happen soon, (when there is 50 different dots on my map or 500 people visited) but I am unsure if there is enough healing time in between. Having so many dots does not mean that there was only that many people visiting the blog here, I would like to thank those who are doubling up on the dots, for I know that the numbers really should be higher.

Previews for blogs ahead:
100 questions: oh goodness yes, someone emailed them to me and I have yet to get through them all.
Wii's Rayman Raving rabbits review: I want to be able to check out some of the extras before posting it.
Band Names: Oh yes, very good.
Other crap about my day: As par usual.
The attack of the surveys: I think I might bring back my surveys, unfortunatly I don't know what about yet. Ideas appreciated.
Return of the Story Blog: I have to relate this to everyone, I have put the story on hold for a undetermined amount of time, hopefully there will be some preview panels posted as well as the story line. So far it has stopped at Chapter 13. For the complete story (sorry the pun) click here.
Movie Reviews: There is a bunch of blockbusters that are coming/ has came to theaters. Unfortunately with all that has happened I haven't seen any of them. I am planning to do so asap, so this may or may not happen, depending on cash flow and availability. And don't forget some of the forgotten blockbusters that are gathering dust on my shelf.
Weather: If no one talked about the weather 86% of us would have nothing to say to cashiers/ strangers/ family / other. I think I'm one of them.
Random news: Not often. I don't catch the news that often right now.
I think this is now a significant length of a post now.
Have a good time out there.

Arrrr, me mateys...

I have to laugh. I've gone from dinosaurs to pirates in one fail swoop. As one might have read earlier in my postings I have some weird ass problem going on with my left eye. Up to this point I've been using 3M bandaids as a temp patch. Some days these are entertaining as I have been known to color an eye on them, or have someone do it for me, for without the patch my drawing is extremely crappy. The problem with the bandaids is that it didn't totally keep the light out so occassionally one has the weird flickers of light through the patch. Truely annoying. Another thing that was annoying that one never realizes how much covered skin sweats, and I'm a bad one for I run my eyes a bunch. Think about this for a moment, I'm sure you'll get it.
But I have been running around with these bandaids for a month now because stores like Safeway and Shoppers Drug Mart do not carry the pirate patches. I haven't had the ability to drive nor the wanting to shop anywhere else. Finally stepped into WalMart. There were the pirate patches, so now everyone is making fun of me in the fashion of "Where's your crew" and "arrr." So now I have to go find a hook or something.

Rawrf?

I think I have fallen behind everyone else in the coolness rating. While people are lining up for tickets to linken park or Bon Jovi I'm saving my pennies up for this:

Now don't get me wrong if the Bon Jovi tickets were a hell of a lot cheaper I would go, unfortunatly I really don't have anyone to go with anyways.
But this Dinosaur thing I was bouncing in my chair when I heard about it. It's kinda sad really but it's something that really captures my attention. Meanwhile others around me sigh and hang their heads, dealing with a 23 year old child who wants to see the big dinos. No one wants to take me to museums for they will be stuck in the prehistoric rooms for a few hours and the rest of modern times will be skipped in a quick precession. But with the costs for everything and still looking for a replacement vechile it seems like my dream of seeing this will be out the door. *Cry*
Meanwhile I've been playing T-Rex at home which is entertaining on itself.
I think I'm going crazy.

People are nuts!

First off there was some flooding action happening in Spruce/Stony last week. I had some pictures but unfortunatly my internet ate it.
It was nuts over the period of 1/2 hour it went from bone ass dry to the Safeway in Stony getting flooded. Even to the point that they had to close because they couldn't keep the water out. Drains and ditches were overflowing, and in that chaos people were driving like idiots. If one's windshield wipers aren't working properly enough to keep at a decent speed then pull off to the side of the road and stay there, not jump out infront of someone who is going three times as fast as you are. It's frustrating because no one has the patience to wait something like that out. Of course if one waited too long their car was flooded. Myself I was one of those crazy drivers who was trying to run and get out of the storm. I did not want to get stuck in that type of weather, and I know the limits I will take a vechile to. It is interesting to hear the stories from other people who were caught in worse spots than I was. One of my bosses was picking up her kid and was stuck in her job site. Meanwhile people were trying to protect their vechies from the hail and slashing rain by parking under the business' eaves. Some people got out of their cars and ran inside, only to be soaked by the rainbefore taking three steps out of their car. Personally I was fortunate to be able to be inside the truck before the rain hit and waited for it to pass. But I was hearing worse and worse on the radio before I decided it would be best to try to make it home. I was dry all the way. It had stopped raining by the time I was able to get home. Yay for me.
That was a tuesday.

Insaneness on this guys part. Rubix cube in a few seconds each. Holy Smokers!
