Titles titles rah rah rah titles titles ha ha ha Mmmmn I love titles...

Yep have the Turtles song stuck in my head. But I asked Kim if it would make a good title and she thought so.

You people are evil. I warned you that I was going to do whatever was voted most popular in previous web poll. Therefore get killed by the cuteness whahahaha!

Yeah I haven't read many books and I really am tired so as it will take a bit to load this blog onto the internet (foul dial - up!)
But in stating that I have decided that Fridays will be the up-load date of the story blog, except on long weekends, when I have to lay paper on Fridays, then it shall be on either Thursdays or Tuesdays. So whatever you do DON'T CLICK HERE!

Valentines...

Okay for those who want to know why Valentines is something I have been putting an emphasis on over the last few days it is because of the following...

Every year on Valentines Boston Pizza makes these heart shaped pizzas as well as sell heart shaped "Valentines" that they stick up around the restuarant. A dollar from every sale of these pizzas and Valentines fo to the heart and stroke foundation. I congradulate BPs on making such a thing as a fundraiser that they are essentially giving away to, because the heart pizzas are no more expensive than the regular pizzas. True there is more romantic ways to spend Valentines but I think this is a more worthy cause than roses, wine, and a more expensive meal that is just a marketing ploy. I hate marketing ploys.

It's the Tuesday before Valentines...

Good morning peoples of the internet.
Once again I was chatting with random people on the internet. My MSN seems to always have random people added to it every day. Anyways we were talking about how the cartoons Disney is producing is falling in quality and the storylines are falling to the tank. I'm not meaning the new movies but the rehashed versions of old stories that should've been ended. Not meaning that I don't love that I get to see some of the old characters again but I think that if they do bring back the characters again that it should be of the same calibre as the original.
Now some you can't get the voices back, as in Simba off of Lion King. But that doesn't mean that the animation should suffer, nor does the story. So what do you think? Disney probably will drag these characters out once more and kill any respect we had once for them.

Animated Disney Movies
Which one of these Disney titles is likely to have another cheesy sequal added to the name? (You can pick more than one)
Pinocchio
Alice in Wonderland
Peter Pan
Lady & the Tramp
Sleeping Beauty
Snow White
Robin Hood
The Great Mouse Detective
The Lion King
Poccahontas
Mulan
Treasure Planet
Chicken Little
Home on the Range
Brother Bear
Lilo And Stitch
The Rescuers
The Little Mermaid
A Bug's Life

An exciting Friday!

As for those who may not know but I live within driving distance of WEM (west edmonton mall). I was going to dinner when we were driving down one of the ramps and smelt smoke. We thought maybe something got stuck in one of the vents and was burning. No such thing! When we stopped at the stop sign flashing lights and an orange glow took my attention. There under Silver City someone/thing caught fire in the dumpster under the pedway. It's already difficult enough to get a parking spot forget when the security car and fire truck is in the way. There was still a bit of smoke coming out of the dumpster when I clicked this photo. Couldn't get any closer though... Stupid police tape. Pretty exciting for being a normal Friday. Hmmm and Tony Romas had their ribs on sale too... Gives me something to Blog about. Oh and Oilers won last night yay!

Well it's the Friday before Valentines

I must admit that it is kinda interesting to see where it has gone over the last year. Last year I was going through Real Estate school to be an agent, Ben was semi living at my house and so was my Uncle. Now I am working at a small paper, still living at home, pretty much given up going for Real Estate *sigh*. But to tell truth it is nice to earn 2 paycheques, since I'm working at Island still for a while yet. Yay I'm gonna be outta debt pretty quickly!

And it's gonna be me and Ben's anniversary next Saturday...I'm excited for him. It's only the thrid anniversary, it's not as if it's my longest relationship or anything, but it's his longest and he still gets excited over every little milestone. As for me I more enjoy poking fun at his age, seeing that it is going to be his 10th reunion next year. On the other hand my own is in 4 years. It's funny how quick time has flown by and how far apart we all have moved. I wonder how many of us will be there in 4 years time, how many of us will be successful, how many of us married, divorced, with kids? I saw in the paper the other day a pair of classmates, married and had a little girl. Many more with ads showing them getting married or engaged and I have to be happy for them. Life is marching along for them, even though there is some days that I think I am still back in high school, sleeping in some dirty hallway, waiting for everyone to arrive, but have a feeling I have arrived too late and everyone is already walked past and going ahead.

It's a tuesday...

Hello people out there.
I wouldn't be looking up the results of the poll until the end of the week so vote and I think you can chose more than one choice. I will do whatever the poll dictates plus add more polls in the future.
Just a note saying I got a new job, and it seems to be something I can handle. Also I posted part of the next chapter. I am going to cut the chapters up a little so that they can be read quicker and it doesn't go on and on and on. Just remember that they are in reverse order! Have a good night.

A snowstorm, just perfect...

Please note the sarcasm here. "Well in the end of everything is perfect as white snow" I heard that quote before and I would have to bow to that idealism for the matter that it truly ended a perfectly nice mid winter weather that we had over the last week to a snowstorm. True that it wasn't the blizzard that we had recieved earlier in the year but today was almost as bad as the blizzard in my opinion. This time however I did manage to get off my butt and get the camera to see that it indeed snowed.

This was the scene that made me blink twice when I let the dog out this morning. Usually I can see the place across the road from here but it is barely made out through the blowing snow. Here though it was slowing for a moment. Also it made me realize that the birdfeeder was empty. If there was any poor little birdies out there braving the wind and snow there would be nothing for them to eat. It is hard to believe that only a few hours earlier the deck was clear.

Once again another scene showing that winter has it out for us. The second car in the background was only out yesterday. I'm glad that I was able to break away the ice that is now covered by the snow, but with the wind that is now blowing I'm not sure if the cement would now be icy underneath the drifts. I am expected to be at work tommarrow. Hopefully the buses wouldn't be running and I can use that excuse.

Why use an excuse? I have now one of those blasted colds that make you feel, sleep and breathe like crap. Meds aren't working so its something that my poor immune system has to kick on it's own. It's just sucks... I'm not sure who gave me this thing because for once Kim isn't ill with it, nor is anyone else, yet. So yes I'll admit it I brought this one into the house, but I wonder if I can still shift the blame onto someone else. Either way back to my green tea and cuddling up to my heater under a blanket and hope that it doesn't get any worse, or if it does, it developes into something that medication can battle against.

A rant about the police...

Sorry if you are a police officer or believe thay are above being human please go to another blog and check back in a week or two, cause yer not gonna like what you read in the next few paragraphs.

As for the other peoples critise as you wish. This is just something that has to be beyond the spectrum of my reality. (That made no sence but I move forewards not backwards)

Alright where to start? I guess at the soonest one that I heard:
A new condo unit is getting put up in Edmonton on 100th Ave right next to the police station. Think that would be one of the safest places to move into. Damn straight but not because of the police station. The developer is putting in the highest in anti-theift technology because the responce time from the police is too long. I can see it now... Person: "Can you send an officer by I was robbed! I live next door to the station."
Operator: "That will be a half hour responce time mam."
Person: "Can you shorten that if he got away through the police station parking lot?"

That Arar thing. A person must be a terrorist if they have the name Arar, common, right? Umm no. And it wasn't right to send him back to a country that tortures people. Well it seems like he won a settlement, which is more than the normal person would earn in a whole lifetime at once. Hmmn I wonder who really pays for that settlement.

Okay now for everyday things that piss me off.
On the average police absolutly abuse their cruisers for no apparent reason. There is no reason to race off on a just turned green light, or race down the highway doing 140 with no lights on. They should have a tackograph like truckers and whenever they push the engine past a certain RPM they have to write up the reason for why they had to. The same for the lights. I saw a cop once turn on his lights so he could run the red light, and then turn them off, then on again to run another red light. Wish I had a light that would allow me to run red lights whenever I wanted to.

Police should take one more half second before firing off their firearms. I have read many stories in various newspapers and magazines of police fireing off many many rounds of amunition at some person and NOT HITTING THEM. One in a riot hit another cop while in a gun fight. Meanwhile the suspect escaped? How did that happen? I always thought that the best way to use a firearm is to see what you are shooting before you fire. If you can't see and hit something as big as a human maybe being a police officer isn't what you should be doing as a profession.

Also I wish I can go to any store I wanted while I was working! I had a cop come into the store, cruiser parked out front. I go "Just getting off." he goes "nope" what do you get outta that?

Oh well done rant.

It's all in a name Part 2

I gotta thank Carrie for yet another thing that is kinda useless but fun none the less.

Kitten-Abducting, Maiden-Injuring Abomination from the Knobby Arcane Isle

Get Your Monster Name

Jewel Expertly Needing Naughty Indulgence and Fantastic, Erotic Recreation

Get Your Sexy Name

Kinetic Artificial Machine Intended for Assassination, Killing and Accurate Infiltration

Get Your Cyborg Name

Now those were fun site with cute piccys for avs but in the real world I wondered if there was more meanings on names than one thinks, therefore I thought to make it a real push to find some information on names and how it effects us. Would a change in name make a real change in how we are percieved or is it in the mindset of the person behind the name?

Of course like making impossible new years resolutions I don't think that changing your name will make a difference to the life of the person unless it makes them let go of the life they want to change. To go and change the name and go back to the same dead-end job and go "I want to be named such and such" but I found it interesting what the websites I found say:
Consider these possible indications of an "out-of-tune" name...

* you feel drawn to a people-oriented job, yet are constantly stuck doing the office paperwork.
* you desire a close, long-term relationship, but find yourself going it alone.
* you have repeated patterns of health problems that focus on one area of your body.
* you are accident-prone.
* you seek to be prosperous, yet are forced to deal with basic issues of survival.
* you want to stand confidently on your own two feet, but are always leaning on others.

Is it that we are programmed from youth to be the way we are due to a name? Or under the constellation we are born under? I might be just looking too much into this. Maybe not. One site that I got some interesting stuff off of (unfortunatly they want you to pay to really have much insight into names) http://www.namepower101.com/name_agories.php
Unfortunatly with the large scaleness of the internet if one types in name meanings one gets flooded with the billion and one sites of what to name a child. It's a lot to go through. Blah. I would let this go but as a writer I hate using names that I have used before, and setting up for a mostly MALE cast it is hard to keep up with the fresh names, especially in an area that had very regular names.

It's all in a name...

I always believed that we live up to our names, no matter what it is. I have found most people who share names are simular in personality. I've been fortunate in finding many Jennifers in my time. Even though I will forever mention that I was one of the queitest ones there seemed to be simularities in personality that is hard to ignore. For one that I have noticed with one or two of my friend "Jennifers" that they push people away but wish to have constant interaction with someone in some way. I am the same way but usually people don't understand why I push away with such force at some times. Others like my ex-work mate and another Jen as well as a neighbour Jen I have found out we know how to belch if it is allowed. I have known over eleven Jennifers in my lifetime, unfortunatly I found it hard to explain about them due to the fact that over time I have forgotten their last names and probably over more time they will fade like the kid on the third row in the kindergarden photograph.
But even with that in mind I got bored and googled a few of my friends and some came up in the first few views, some found in the depths of many, many, many pages, which took many, many, many hours to pour through when one digs through web sites on dial up. When I did myself however I found nothing. Talk about good or depressing. Good: I've done everything online possible to hide myself in the depths of many alises that no one will ever find me, even though my internet life is over ten years now. Wow hard to take that when I only have owned a computer since grade ten. or Depressing: I have done nothing that is note worthy. I noticed a Doctor Jennifer Brown, Street Hockey something or rather Jennifer Brown, another more renowned real estate agent, a HR, a 2004/2005 grad, singer. So HA! I look at all these peoples and think of all the good things they have done and I am lucky to be able to make my million before I die. *Sigh*
I can't imagine any of the Jennifers I have met going on and saving lives through medicial breakthough, winning gold medels (unless belching becomes a sport), or becomming distinguished actresses.
At least I can look forwards to one thing that probably be posted online for some other person before myself is that by the time I perish the obituaries will be predominatly done online. Perhaps by that time I may see something of myself online... Or perhaps that is all I wish to be ever known online of myself ^-^
Sorry to sound so depressive really I didn't mean it that way.

Soon a New Year...

Soon a New Year and still we are the same. I don't know about anyone else but I think I have made my new years resolution. Now it isn't to lose weight (like that will happen, I think if that is to happen I need to get sick or lypo), or to be less indecisive (I always think what could've been), or to make a bunch of money this year. No I think that human nature stops us from breaking the traditional everyday blah no matter what the best intentions are. It's too hard. That's why the resolution of not making resolutions is becomming a trend. However I'm going to actually make a resolution that I think I might be able to achieve if my habitory losing of stuff will allow me to keep it...

Do you really want to know?

Alright. I figure that I have a bunch of jewelery that I have collected over the matter of years. I'm going to go through it and throw out the one ofs that are of the cheap ass plastic earrings that I got years ago, clean them all verra well and start wearing some of this stuff. I have a plastic drawer full of jewelery, necklaces, rings and earrings that never see the light of day. Of course some of that stuff should never see the light of day and be dealt with in some way.

Okay so there it is. My crappy resolution, but I even have a back-up one that will DEFINELY fail fairly quickly... That is to wear eyeshadow and get through a day without wiping it across my temples as I rub the crap outta my eyes.

Anyways happy new years peoples of the internet and sorry for the long last post.

In the middle of holidays 2006!

Good salutations to those out there in cyberland...
Yes indeed it has been a busy holiday with a flurry of activities that makes it hard to stop to have a breath but it was all good, for it was all for friends and family.
Now lets see Lets start off with the 23. Ben told me only the morning before of a family friend get together that was held on that night. The unfortunate part of that was that they have a santa appearance and he gave everyone there a gift, that was provided by the people in attendance of course. So unfortunatly, rush, rush, rush gotta find a gift from "Santa". Believe me I was singing monty pythons "ho ho fucking ho" by the end of the night of the 22. However on the 23 it was all worth it. I would like to remind the city of Edmonton that there is snow taking up any street parking places and they WILL be held responsible for any hit and runs that come to my vechile since I HAVE to park in the MIDDLE of the street. There that's out of my system. Anyways I got to try a new assortment of treats, some which made me look for more, others which made me gag but over all there wasn't as if that ruined the evening or nothing. Got to try out the new wii system. I must admit that it was very good party entertainment. This is for the fact that the thing is interactive, easy to learn and many people quickly gained enough talent with it after a short time that it made it a great game. It was kinda funny that the guys who brought the system was waiting for the straps to fail or some sort of problem to happen so that they could get a picture of the host crying over his sad little 21" t.v. that was out of the 80s. Like that was going to happen...They replaced the wrist straps on the controllers with the heavy weight phone straps as soon as they heard that that was a problem, unlike the other stupid people out there. Continuing on...Ben got me a jewerly box with an inscription on it that made me cry, it was so sweet. Got to beat the crap out of the pinyota. Never got to do that before in my life so it was surprising that 1. I hit the darned thing and 2. hit it hard enough to crack it open and knock the paper mache hat off (which I wore until it was knocked off with flying pinyata pieces then it was sat on *cry*).

24. Wow got to sleep in a bit, even though I got home at 4am, but I was feverously working to try to finish off a fuzzy scarf for Kim and a nice blanket for mom (the blanket is still not completly finished so oh well) and Ben came over for my family's Christmas with him. Mom got a pot and pan set from him and she was tickled pink. I think no matter what he does this year he'll be in mom's good books. But seriously he needs to get himself a cell phone, and learn how to use it. It's difficult to handle someone that comes over for Christmas and I got NOTHING wrapped at that moment. So it was the game of either get Kim to entertain him or send him outside for a smoke. Both worked. At the end I gave him a "universal tool", which is a tool used for a spacific purpose but we found many ways to use the thing. If he hasn't found the real purpose for it I'll post a picture and you guys can have a crack at it, but right now he's watching me like a hawk, hoping I'll slip up and tell someone who will tell him...hehehehe I'm so evil. After that finish wrapping gifts. For some reason while wrapping gifts we get into strange conversations, this year, "what is the difference between a slut and a whore?". Some days I think I should really tape my mouth shut. "A slut is a person who gives themselves to a bunch of guys for sex, a whore is a used up slut, but you don't have to worry about that Kim, right now your not pretty enough to be a slut." At that moment I stopped and slapped myself in the forehead. (I had to put this story in cause Kim thought it funny and want to read it at a later time)

25. Christmas at home. It's so nice to see people really enjoy the amount of stuff we have under the tree, even though most of the gifts we give one another is stuff for the house or dollar store toys that will be broken 15 minutes after we take it out of the package. Mom loves seeing the Christmas tree brimming with gifts, and since this is the one time of year she gets to spoil us all. Yes it is very materialistic but really some of the stuff we get is stuff we would shop for anyways. This year we even got a bag of bird-feed and a set of dry measuring cups... which by the way my mom never heard of or really knew how to use -_- sometimes I wonder....

26. Dinner...Ben's father's side has a dinner every boxing day. So far I've been a good little doobie and gone to each and every one of them. This year however was a short one, everyone was gone out of the hall by eight which is a little surprising. The new final fantasy game is interesting looking but I hate the gameplay so I doubt that I'll ever buy a copy for myself, hells I'm not even interested in "borrowing" Ben's copy.

27. Laziness...Actually got some time to do some chores like gathering up my crap from Christmas and putting it in the back room. However it is impossible to move back there save for a small path to my room and the bathroom, due to everything that was in the front was piled infront of my awesomeness PSX bookshelf and the rest around the pool table is half completed shelf units. Thank goodness that mom put up some christmas lights on the other end of the room, since it is still dark in the mornings I get to make it out of the tunnel-like areas before stubbing my toes.

28. Got a day with Andrea! Which is awesomeness to the coolious. yeah...yeah... And dinner with Danielle and Danielle. Woot there is gonna be pictures as soon as I figure out how to put the pictures on my new camera onto my crap-ass old computer. But since I'm at work as well I can't pull the pictures off at this time anyways :P

29. Here I am at work, boring you all with a stupidly long blog posting that is just starting into the rant part...Sorry guys it's been busy and I haven't had time to split all these things on their own. Hells I barely got online long enough each day to get my neopet advant calendar. Sorry that's more important than blogging. I know I'm immature.

Anyways Christmas rant! I HATED Christmas this year. I never got into the real spirit this year. I think it was due to the fact that I was too busy to even think. Past that me and Ben weren't getting along very well at the beginning of the month combined with not getting a job for the umpteenth time, getting fired from the real estate office, dealing with Eric, having every vechile except for the new yorker break down on me (the New Yorker shouldn't be on the road)(but it hated Eric's truck kept pulling hard towards it every time when it was parked in the driveway LOL), and then combined with the every holiday pressures that it seems like I'm the only one that could deal with it. In the end I shut off most of my christmas music and bulk wrapped all my gifts and hid. I didn't get into fights in the store but I did get cut and bled pretty provously in the middle of WalMart.

But as soon as all the stress and gatherings pretty much died down I went it's too bad. I would've liked to get some more pictures of Santa with bunches of kids, watch the stupid shows on the CBC, taken some amount of higher effort with the gifts and thought things out more throughly. In the end however, everything turned out well. True this year I didn't trim my tree, nor brighten the dark corners with lights to call back the sun for a new season, nor give the high prayers to those who passed on and those who are still on this side of the dirt (but at least I have til Yule for those), but it seems a lot of us missed out on the season as well.

A murder over a christmas tree? Theft in the lines for people getting PS3s? Fist fights over what, a shirt or the last of something? Multitudes of accidents. Many more minor incidents that never made the news. People buying things that they have no desire in owning to make a small fortune, for people to find it in thrift stores a year later. People as they grow seem to forget the simple pleasures that some one gets out of something small.

I blame the media! They are the ones who declare that parents aren't good enough if they aren't the first in line to shell out thousands of dollars on PS3s, Wiis, Tickle me Elmos and any other fad that has hit the shelves. I remember getting a colouring book, a pack of crayons and a teddy and those three items kept me busy for most of christmas. Kim got one of those balls that move by themselves and she screamed for hours, but the media made it seem like they were bad people if they didn't get this for their little one. Media makes it so that dial-up internet, rabbit-earred peasant television and a nice home is something that isn't enough for the basics of life. Meanwhile our parents have done fine and proper with no computers, no mass amounts of television, no elmos. So I say give it a break materialistic bastards, and enjoy what is there. Almost everything that is for sale this year will be out next year and probably for a lot less. So I'll go off and enjoy the Soduku keychain my mom got out of the dollar store, as well as the other cheap stuff, and enjoy it for the enjoyment factor. And soon I'll get the t.v. box to pile more junk into. (Sorry we got a tv for christmas cause the one we had for almost 20 years is giving up the ghost but at least it's the cheaper non-plasma non-flat screen variety.)
Now I'm off to find a website that is dressed for Christmas with the blinky lights and all....

Things to think about....

1. Until you hurt something you never realize that you use it as much as you do.
2. If you are looking for a RED box you will find that there is way more red things you own than you expect, for instance I didn't realize I had a collection of red bound encyclopedias until I was looking for my Scattegories.
3. No matter how well you plan things or such there will be a child (mentally or physically) or someone with size D+ boobs that will get some sort of food, toothpaste or something down the front of their clothes.
4. One way or another makeup will be messed up by the end of the day.
5. Picture day, important interview, or first date, is of course, the day were you will get pimples even though you haven't touched any of your triggers in months.
6. Recipes will look better in the book or on TV than you can make. That's because they make them out of plastic and the stuff that they are eating is airbrushed, I swear.
7. If there is something REALLY important to print off that's when the ink will be out.
8. Murphy should be hung.
9. Whenever an actor is drinking beer on TV the drink is dyed and supposably very bitter and many want to puke afterwards, however after long enough they CAN actually stomach the stuff, must be like fast food.
10. Sometimes the harder one works at something creative, the less creative it becomes.
11. It's kinda okay to leave the christmas lights on all year on the house but its definely not okay to leave the halloween/easter/valentines decorations up all year round.
12. You get put on Crime Stoppers if you accidentally hit a lady, go out and check if she is alright, help her to the store, ask a few times more if she is alright and when you say "yes, I'm fine", and then leave...I saw the commercial on TV.
13. Are you getting more than your daily dose of Television/calcium?
14. How many words can you form out of ESAIIOUX ?
15. Define addiction. Now really think about that. There is now help for those who are addicted to the internet.

Actually now I can say this: There is so many things I want to do this next year.

Unfortunatly I wanted to go scating but I've been benched once more this year. So maybe next year.
Carrie and I thought of something really fun: Getting multiple people in a MSN chat opening thingy...*Smacks self for lack of real words* and playing all at once. I depends on a lot of trust in order that people aren't cheating but hey people only hurt themselves if they cheat and say the same thing someone else says. Therefore the search for Scategories as mentioned above, but it's alluding me. Perhaps I will be able to put my hands on it before the new year. Doubt it though... Christmas has placed my home into the usual disarray.

Anyways I'll leave that Chapter 5 will be soon up on my story blog, maybe it's chapter 6...Anf the next chapter should be hot on that one's heels, if anyone was wondering why I've been hiding a bit from writting on other peoples one paragraph stories. Hopefully I will be able to do more of that later in the month or in the new year, since I think Carries has died and probably Mel's have taken off since last I saw it. Chio.

blah on a december night

Okay I must admit that I am a complete kid in some ways. I was going through some things of mine and found a kids coloring book and a box of 64 crayons as well as a box of smelly ones (scented like roses, trees and other things like mr sketch) and in the end I sat and colored this ancient book for a few hours. It is still nice to step out and reach out to the inner child and let the caged beast out once in a blue moon.
Which I noticed it is a full moon. The 22 is the first day of winter but there is over 50 cm of snow on the ground.
And Kim and I almost decided to make the snow that we have shovelled off the decks into a snow fort, since the snow is almost as tall as the raised deck. I never noticed til I talk to people my own age how much Kim has in a way, pulled me back in age so that I don't feel totally stupid filling milk cartons full of ice and snow and making a makeshift igloo, or watching old saturday cartoons. Some think that once you reach a certain age that things like that should be pushed by the wayside, made room for the sameness of adult age. Tasting both at the same time to make it all the more that I really don't want to trade in the fact that sometimes rather play a brain dead game of snakes and ladders than doing something that is more age appropriate. Unfortunatly all I have on my mind right now that older peoples do is drive and look at porn.
Anyways this has been another waste of a blog post. Hopefully my dog doesn't beg for food and trip me on the way to bed.

...

Got a job interview, lost the job to someone else. I'm starting to hate this cycle. Go to an interview and tell your story in different lights to make sure that you can get the job. The interviewer gives you false hope that they are going to hire you. On the day that you are about to do something that will cinch the job and they give you a call WHILE YOU ARE YOUR WAY, to tell you that it's not necessary to come in because they filled the position.

Now if you don't mind excuse my language: What the fuck is wrong with the picture when I can't get a fucking part time position at McDonalds? They hire kids only a year older than my sister, or old peoples looking for a boost in their pension. Places are crying that they cannot find people but they are willing to be choosy on who they wish to hire. I guess that it is their right but then don't complain that you can't find people. Here is my personal numbers, over the last three months I have put out over 50 resumes to various places that are hiring. Got only one call back. Before that over the last year, (after I left Superstore) I've put out resumes to the top turn over areas in the Grove; WalMart, Boston Pizza, McDonalds, Arbys, A&W, Pizza Hut, Bings, etc., only WalMart and McDonalds gave me an interview, even a second interview (In WalMart's case I've had five interviews WTF?). Once again they say that they'll call you, but they don't; you get a nice letter in the mail stating that the position is filled and thanking you for your time.

There I'm done my rant, sorry to those out there reading this written diarrhea that violently spewed out on this "page"

As for the fun things in life, we got the store decorated! Yes people are complaining that it's too early to get ready for christmas but hells Canadian Tire is now playing Christmas Music on a repeater mode. Poor suckers working there. So I got the windows all painted and hopefully if I can and it doesn't freeze me out of doing it I might do some more but it is verra unlikly.

I just met the most interesting person I have met in a long time. She was educated and well spoken. She had her own opinions and weren't afraid to share them, even if they crossed that politically correct line. Unfortunatly she burned up an hour of Corrinnes and my own's time for $.80, but sometimes one has to step out of the boring shopclerk and go and connect with some of the people who come in and appreciate them for who they are and what they bring even if it's only a good chat and eighty cents.

Anyways there is anything better than this I should be doing. Even if it is adding another chapter to my own story or that of the others that have been working on line by line.

I shall leave you with something else interesting that floated past my desk today...

Here's to Your Health! (Hic!)
It is said that the ancient Romans used to toast a woman's health by
drinking a glass of wine for every letter of her name.
Oh, what merry times were had when
Cornelia Theodora Agrippina
attended a party!

10. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now add up the total number of points.

OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should "handle with care". You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful &practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It'd really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions & who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything. They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

Since it was just halloween....

I would like to introduce my newest character, whom has taken my pen name: Kami.
Since probably no one cares she was designed by the r/ping at Armitage Dimension. Thanks to those nekos who chased around the bells. And to those who are with IWS to make the world more fashionable.
I'll get the other drawings up somewhere on the cyber world as soon as I get a stupid scanner again.
And like the problems that carrie was facing PSD do not convert over to the .jpgs with any liking whatso ever.

I got me a voice recorder...

Kim and I were doing the two words each thingy and this is what we came up with. I'm so am surprised that we sound so much alike. We were interrupted half way through to do chores so it's not complete, maybe it could be completed at some other time, maybe not too I donno...

Blue skies were now drawing clouds from the north east so the little kitty wanted to hide from the angry clouds that smelled like rain. She hissed at the dog that was hiding under the dorrstep that she was sitting under. The startled dog ran away and ran into the old man who kicked the dog flying. Happy the cat purred, and was eating some dried cat food. Suddenly she, saw that there was a break in the rain. So she ran over to her owners place. She was locked outside. That made her angry and started to meow and scratch at the doorframe. What a dumb cat the owner yelled so she ran away and never came back. The cat went to another place near an old farm were she found a huge amount of vets. So she continued on. She found a place that had lots of other cats, that she found two liked to play. Especially the little gray one, which was named Henry the first. Day they that she was there Henry decided to move and eat somewhere else. Angry the mother cat decided to ground him and eat all his short-shorts. So he got mad and ran farther and with the rat that was friends with Henry. The female rat was suddenly died. And so Henry was lonely so the female cat decided to travel with him. The days went quickly by as the two went travelling somewhere else. They went to the city where there was lots of icecream stores! Happily they stole the icecream and ate it until their stomachs were fat. And very round. Disgusted they started to travel on un til they found another place where they met up with a large tabby who was orange. He was named Garfield. So he went with them to eat icecream but they said there was no more...

Friday the 13th! It's story time!

I thought that it would be nice to have something halloweenish and considering that this is Friday the 13th, I thought it would be good to post a picture that we all could write a story upon. I remember from way back having a picture simular to below and writing something spooky on it. Might be interesting on what everybody comes up with... Happy writing!

A few moments before work

This is the time in which I love to be at work. The store is open but I don't have to do anything. I know I'm weird. I used to come in from a break early when I worked at CT and watch the people get ready for their shift, or off to have a smoke. The time in which is away from home and I can tell people to eat shit and die, cause I'm not technically here. Unfortunately here it isn't always the way that I can go. For one I usually work on the computer in the "cubicle like cage" that is my workstation, so that if I go over my time I just leave the site open and work on it whenever I got a spare moment or whenever I get a break (ie whenever the other girls go for a smoke break and there is no one in the store). But common it's not as if my job is physically demanding. The most excercise that I do on a normal day is tapping my feet to the sound of music that comes from the website I listen to.
But to tell the honest truth I love my job! How many people can say that? It's not a big deal for me to get up and go to this job. Save for mornings...I hate mornings. Anyone who went to school and saw me either sleeping before class or during the morning classes knows how much I hate mornings. Now as for sleeping in the afternoon, that was because the classes were boring.
Now back to my job, if one has been reading at least the blog before this one knows that I've been job hunting. Why? The all mighty dollar of course! I cannot keep working at wages below $10/hr even if I wanted to. I figure I got to get over $15 to really pull myself out of debt in a hurry but no matter who I put in the resumes to I get a simular responce; "Can I trust you to drive such a long drive day after day?" I'm getting this out of people in Spruce Grove! Hello? I've worked nowhere but Spruce Grove and rarely had problems with the drive, save for three feet of snow, which even if I lived across town, I probably wouldn't drive it. I live a 1/2 hour away from town, it's even a nice drive. True it gets long doing it day after day, but if I got real oppertunity for some cash I would move closer to work.
Talking about moving, oh shit....Train crash....Mental train crash and all passengers have been killed. Cry horror in the streets....

Okay that's done. A trailer that was in my neighbourhood burn down. It was a bummer so close to halloween...They always gave away tons of treats. You know those types of houses that keep you for about ten minutes stuffing an empty pillowsack full of everything you can think of; apples, cans of pop, peanuts (used to before everyone in the world suddenly seemingly developed a peanut allergy and killed a lot of good stuff for everyone else, I'll get to that perhaps on another rant), halloween kisses, caramals, a goody bag, a huge handful of suckers, a big chocolate bar. With people like that one sometimes carried the good ol' sheet with eyes cut out. "What are you little girl?" *peeks at the dark blue with stars sheet,* "I'm the night sky!"

I can only hope, but probably wouldn't get my hope, that Ben has halloween off. Last year was a blast treat or treating with him and Kim and Chelsea. Yes I did go trick or treating last year. And I got three safeway bags and a pillowcase of candy for my share of the load. I'm gosh Damn PROUD OF IT! Trick and treating is a lot easier to get a lot more candy when you don't have a driver eatting everything as he's turning the car around or when you are out of the car. Dad was a hoser that way. But not as much of a hoser as the parents who wouldn't let their kids go out, or tell them that Santa is just a fat guy in a suit. I always want to smack those parents. They will still buy the candy at the stores with the halloween decals on it. I once asked a kid what they were going to be for halloween and the parent went nuts, saying I was a devil worshiper for promoting such a event. All this while I was stuffing a package of candy bars with a green faced witch on the front of it. hypocrite.

Anyways it's time to actually get some work done so meh.

I'm Baaacccckkkkk....

Yeah I went on a hiadis...
Oh and it was soooo nice. It really wasn't as if I went to some tropical resort (common people this is me we're talking about).
I went to Seba Beach for almost 2 weeks minus a few days. It was really nice, unfortunatly we didn't have the boat in the water, but it was nice to walk along the docks at night looking at the moon's reflection in the water. Ben and I got to have some alone time, which after this we will have to see when there will be another time we will get to do this but both of us agree that it will probably be a long time.
News: I probably wouldn't be moving out any time soon, since Ben is forced to live at home (not his fault but I'm not going to post the reason online PM me if you want to know, yeash)
Eric is leaving for a while but not soon enough
My job hunt is still bearing no fruit...That's okay though cause I actually have some hours this month but next month yeah right.
Anyways I better go before my boss decides to fire me....Yeah right.

About Weddings...

Well I did survive the wedding that I went to last week. I thought it appropriate that I made a note about it a full week after that way my thoughts and opinions are that of my own and have had the time to be swayed either way.

But I have to say this. That wedding was a complete and utter show.

First off it was a Catholic wedding. (If all Catholic wedding ceremonies are like this I appologize to those who are Catholic at this moment. And appologize that there is no way that I will go through another one.) Well it started off nice, with the classic walking of the bride but not in the lengths that television goes through. All the wedding party was already up by the priest(?) and was waiting for her. No introduction, to envy the other party's dresses, I didn't see a flowergirl nor ring bearer...But there is no real children of that age and maturity right now in either family so I can understand. Then everyone sits down. And the priest reads five verses that the bridge and groom chose and how it partians on how they should live their marriage. Okay fine and dandy...Everyone stands for a song, everyone sits for a speech, everyone stands in prayer, everyone sits, and yet another song by the organist and priest. I must admit that the priest had a wonderful voice, but I really could've shot the organist. She ruined the songs for me. Shill and loud eck. Finally to the classic ceremony with blessing the rings, then the vows (extended version), then blessing and signing of the marriage documents...hehehe I can see it now with me, I'll probably be so nervous that I will spell my name wrong.

So then after all was said and done it was te thanks for coming to the ceremony line. Oh goddess, being in a hot dress and black high heels and combine it with red hair and fine skin made me almost pass out with the heat, since people kept on butting in. Thankfully Ben's cousin (?) ((Way too big of family)) is huge and i stole him for a shade maker...Ben's way too small for the job. Past that I was given the cousin's baby and Ben thought that I looked quite natural. I still could hurt him for that comment. It's not my fault that she likes my sparkly necklace I had on. At least she wasn't like Kim, there was almost no drool! Hehahaha.

And then it was time to burn off...Geez with the other wedding that I was at there was pictures that the family wanted almost everyone that was dressed nice at the wedding in. Here the wedding party took off in the limo and wasn't seen until almost seven at the hotel. Fine it was okay, it made it so that I got to know a little more of Ben's extended family on one side. But after an hour or so it was getting a little long of a wait. The wedding ceremony was at noon and the dinner is at 6. Crap that was a long time. Good thing there was food where we went or I would've been whining for a burger, which would've been all over the front of my dress, I know it.

So to the dinner, which was held in the top suite of the delta inn. Half of the lights were burnt out, which really didn't matter because they were blinking anyways. The view was nice, seeing the city from high up is wonderful. I love that view, no matter which city I am in. If I get the chance to live up on the top floor of some building I would go for it, even if it is one of the small highrises here in Spruce. Living in the country has been nice all of my life, but I like change. Anyways studies say that on average, the bigger city you live in the thinner the population is. But I wonder if that study includes homeless peoples as well, but I have noticed people who are in town are in general thinner than the country counterparts.
Anyways I degress, the meal was okay, unfortunatle there was not much that I liked, oh well salad and roast beef with gravy: yum! AND FOR ONCE a dessert tray that had more than cheesecake. Every single CT christmas party that I have been in has had it so that there was chocolate, strawberry and cheery cheesecake. Hmmm now wouldn't you figure that there might be people at a buffet that don't like cheesecake, but might like the cheaper and easier to make white and chocolate cakes? A little warning to those out there in cyberland, to get foodpoisioning from cheeesecake go to the Grove Motor Inn. I hear that that case of food poisioning was published in a book.

Yeah and I'm bad at guess that tune, our table was one of the last one's to eat...*Sigh*
Anyways the dance went from 9-12...Quite a rip but most of her family was gone anyways so what the difference anyways right?

Anyways at the end of the day it cost $30,000. I can think of a lot better uses for that amount of money, no matter how much I have in the pocketbook.

Yay!

After such a long absence I finally had put Chapter three on the blog. I keep on losing that darned notebook and with everything going on at the same time it seems like I never get any time to put new stories and such online.

As for work why on earth will no one pick up theoir stuff?!?? I have done three typing and design jobs for people this week and they needed it priority one and yet still the proofs go and sit so long on my desk, sooner or later my boss is going to go nuts and complain that it looks like a tornato hit it. Well in fact that it is only like five orders sitting with their printable counterparts as well as the toners to send out. But how can I complain? Without the typing jobs there will be no work to do. With the store going into a slow and ugly death there really isn't much keeping me between a pink slip. I was hoping against hope that people would start to actually go and start giving this store a fighting chance but it seems like the work here is needed but people are not buying. Smitty's here is now closed at 4pm. Why? Lack of staff. There is more and more stores going in but there is less and less staff to run these stores and with the housing market going nuts there is few that can afford to work at some of these places for just above minimum wage. Mom hates it that I haven't found a better job, she isn't one to complain she isn't making much better than myself. Honestly if I could take the heat I would be out there in the construction trade and making the 18.00 an hour or more.

Still owners are still having to put in their time into their stores. Good to see that they are no longer hiding in the back corners as much piling the paperwork so high that they say that they are too busy to assist people. Too bad the cost of living is not going down with all this prosperity.

Dancing all alone

It has been a long time since I blogged. I was a perverbial blog-a-holic. Perhaps I will go back to my blogging again when I have the time.

But today has been a bad day.
I am forced into going to a wedding tomarrow. That blows. For one it is someone that I do not know. Two this will make people wonder when Ben and I are going to get married, and we are going through a rough time, which it is questionable if we are EVER going to get married. Three everything that I was looking for has mysteriously disappeared. For instance; my promise ring, specially bought bra straps, tuxedo coat, earrings...I have my make-up, necklace, and dress. Unfortunatly the coat that was made for the dress is too small (I don't think it ever really fit me it is almost too small for kim)
Also last night I couldn't sleep so I did down my nails and now they are cracking and tearing. Good thing I didn't paint them or I would be trying to touch them up tonight. But I might have to paint my nails anyways cause they are now spotty and such...Yuck. I like the top part white and the lower pink. I just hate painting or doing anything with them due to the fact that it just weakens the nail and that I have to do something to them, rather than letting them grow cause if I haven't mentioned it anywhere else I AM LAZY!!!!
The other fact that I couldn't sleep is that I'm nervous about going to this wedding. Ben goes, "We just love our family get togethers" meanwhile his girlfriend is going I want to go home and I haven't even got there yet. I have gone to the yearly family get togethers at Christmas time and with so many people there I wanted to crawl underr the table and hide in a dark corner away from everyone. I know that it is kind've childish to go and do such a thing but that is my way. I don't handle people well. I guess that might be one of the reasons that I don't want to marry Ben. There is too much family at once and not enough of it in between. It isn't like there is a big family dinner every weekend nor a immediate family dinner every night. What is the point of having this types of things when the family is close and it seems like it is too much work for one to visit Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents when they are only less than an hour away?
Perhaps that's just me.

Google Searchs

I have noticed how much of a pain in the ass it is anymore to find anything on the internet these days without a pay - to - use site blocking your way to find what you want. Latly I have been trying to find some emulators to download due to the falling amount of money I have due to fuel. Anyways it seems like no matter where you turn there was sites who wanted up to $50 to download a game that doesn't cost that much on the original platform, that I am not forced to play in a terrible computer screen. Finally after much hosing and searching I finally found what I was looking for and some more. It seems as if Nintendo is screwing over the public once more with the protecting and sueing of people who put out copies of their mario games, even though they are expired, and almost impossible to get anymore. For example; Mario brothers 3. Originally made for the NES, was placed under the protection thingy due to the fact that it was released in the GBA platform. However once you go looking for the game in the real world they are asking for more than $45 for the damned thing that they figured that people whould really enjoy it on a 2" screen. Bah. Now that I finally broke down and let Bennett buy a gamecube (even though I thought of buying it after paying off the credit card bill) I find out that those butt wipes of nintendo has discontinued the gameboy pplayer adaption so that one can play the gameboy games on screen to make room for their new hardware. Unless that new hardware features the fact that you can play gameboy games on the television screen why on gamers green earth would they discontinue such an item on a console that is still on the market? (Ever seen the gamecube games? They are small)
I am sick and tired of seeing things I want and they never come to fruit. Like the revolution. Some say that it is the wii, others say they discontinued it before it came out due to lack of interest. I'm not sure which is true but I have something to say for both. 1. Renamed to wii: Nintendo already spent huge mony in advertising of the revolution. Why would they change the name to wii? Already I have seen the wii controller and the revolution controller, they do not look even remotly the same. 2. Disinterest from the public: There is millions upon millions of old nintendo games without a platform to be played upon due to hardware crashes accidents and other things that life sends our ways. Many of us would still buy the old nintendo cartridges if there was something that we could play these pieces of nastalgia. Personally I am still looking for consoles and will forever be on the hunt, for there are games out there that I would love to play. The revolution sounded like the cheapest and most easiest way for that to happen, also would allow nintendo to produce some of their older cartridge games once more and they would be brand new to the new generation of gamers. I gave Kim a emulated version of Mario Kart and she played for hours, since it was a new game for her, never seen before. It would make the company more than enough money without producing any r&d into their games. History was the R&D! True one has to minus the already game sales but some of those who were produced has crashed and therefore not usable and if people bought them then and played them until they died due to wear I think they might buy them again, wouldn't you?

Either way I am still waiting and watching. I saw a brand new NES system never out of the box with the gray gun at the Otafest last year. Maybe sometime soon I might be able to get my hands on the things I want and then I would have to have a house with a custom game room that will have enough power so that I don't blow breakers, switch power cords or anything like that to run my multiple vcrs, betas, nintendos, n64s, gamecube, television, stereo equipment, dvd players, dvd burner, ps, ps2s....Yes there is multiples of the ones with s's behind them....So sue me I like stuff, and I'm a good shopper so most of the stuff came to me almost or free...

More things...

I hate mice on the loose. I think they are so cute, especially when they are small and are sitting around chewing on something, but they like to chew and squeek at you in the middle of the night. I have one ccocky mouse (I hate cocky mice) who has effectivly evaded all the traps so far. I woke up the other night to find him SITTING on the ultrasound mouse shooer thing a ma gig....ummm yeah. So the proceeding was me chasing the poor thing all around with one of the old small fish tanks trying not to squish the stupid thing... Also it has set off three of the stick traps and ate all the peanut butter. I think this one is a NIMH mouse. Either than that it's luckier than it's other dead counterparts.

Why am I writing about mice that has done their yearly invasion of my home? Because unlike every year, I got this god damned cocky mouse. And two cats that have no interest in killing it. Even though one is making my mom pissed off at it due to the fact that it kills all the birds that come to the feeders, save for the hummingbirds.

Also I'm running on about three hours of sleep a night and I'm burnt. I'm going to get that damned mouse or die trying! LOL
